Different ideas for future episodes, put in no particular order: Gojira Orange Goblin Clutch Kyuss Fu Manchu Truckfighters Radiohead Electric Wizard Slo Burn Mayhem Burzum Alcest Devin Townsend Strapping Young Lad High on Fire Sleep Cattle Decapitation Slayer Megadeth Deicide Meshuggah Entombed Kvelertak (since they have 3 guitarists, it would be fun having a guest if you ever do that one) Possessed Morbid Angel Death Beyond Creation Obscura Bloodbath Obituary Paradise Lost Suffocation I know those are lots of bands, but I'm not asking you to do one for each of them, this is just for inspiration, and if you do only one of those bands, I'll be quite happy.

@Alphaaussiegaming4 жыл бұрын
Eron Roberts personally Bruv I’ve tracked guitar with both the dsl 40 and the club 40 and mixed together it’s really a cool sound the Marshall has a bassy sound while the black star with the isf has more mid range it sounds pretty killer in a mix and I’ve finally got my buddy to use the dsl for couple gigs and he’s slowly falling in love with it so it’s not that black star is replacing the dsl they are both awesome and the mix together to our ears is pretty killer when both playing rythem and when one of us smacks a fuzz for some black stone cherry type stuff it just screams man seriously try it if u ever get the chance although the dsl may or may not have slightly less gain I’m not sure but easily fixed with a blues driver or some sort of boost and overdrive wouldn’t be needed then again depends on your rig

but if they do Judas Priest they'll need to find something to replace the Hamer guitaris cos andetons ain't got em i think Jackson Kelly, Marshall DSL40c, probably a moderate bit of phaser and delay would help get Glenn's tone for K.K an ESP with an Egnater or something and you could go far! i wanna hear them do the following... The Hellion/Electric Eye, Painkiller & Painkiller (Solo)

guys, thanks for the video's. I enjoy them very much. My suggestion for you.. how about ''gear first'' when thinking of who to sound like? - for example, start with the question - ''who uses Laney amps?'' or, "which bands use a combination of acoustic and electric guitars for their songs''? - It would get past ye-olde gear combo's we've seen lots of times now.

Great video guys! Thanks for the time and effort you put into these things. By far one of my favorite things to watch! Please consider future episodes to sound like the Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, or the Allman Brothers Band. They have gone through some major changes in lineup through the years so you'll have to do your homework to nail the tones of the original or "Golden Era" members. But if you check out the early recordings, you'll be fine.

Bea's rig with the octave kicked in sounded deliciously wicked. I propose a challenge to you guys, and that is: sound like Boston (first two albums "Boston" and "Don't Look Back") BY busting the bank. I think this could be an interesting challenging. Why? They had a unique sound that owed a lot to a wonky amp. In fact they could not recreate their own sound for "The Third Stage" because they sold the amp the gave them that unique sound. Can you sound like a band that couldn't sound like itself?
