"Sound of Sleat" played on a beautiful set of Highland pipes made by Murray Huggins of Colin Kyo bagpipes. After being sick with a respiratory infection for six weeks it feels great to be back in the saddle again playing the Highland bagpipes. The Sound of Sleat (pronounced slate) is a narrow sea channel off the western coast of Scotland. It divides the Sleat peninsula on the south-east side of the Isle of Skye from Morar, Knoydart and Glenelg on the Scottish mainland.
