SOUND+SLEEP nomad sound machine video review

Would this help drown out noisy neighbours overhead who make a lot of noise from walking around/impact noise. Its either buy a sleep machine or move out, im at breaking point from lack of sleep. Its gotten so bad now that I have an issue with going to bed. Thanks

Cathy Collins Upstairs neighbors are the worst. I used to have some neighbors that I dubbed, "The Stompowitzes." Unfortunately the Sound-Sleep doesn't do a great job with impact noise. I use mine to drown out outside noise and TV noise but for impact noise I've only had success with earplugs. My new upstairs neighbors are nice and will take off their shoes at night but sometimes it's still pretty bad. It might be time to move, sleep is a precious commodity and necessary for good health - both mental and physical.

Thanks for the advice. I cant wear ear plugs due to chronic ear infections from wearing ear plugs for years, and lack of sleep has just worn me down to the point that I will have to move. Unfortunately I bought here so will be renting out my apartment and im hoping whoever I get to rent will not be affected. I could get the ceiling insulated but there is no guarantee on noise reduction or much of it. Thanks again for your help

Cathy Collins They make headbands with integrated headphones instead of earplugs - you might be able to wear one of those. Look up: AcousticSheep or other headbands.
