One of my biggest fears was that the opening music was way too loud, but no one complained so far so I guess it's fine? haha

Opening music is excellent! :)

Thanks a lot! I may actually talk about the quartet engine and Projectyle in a future episode :)

It won't be the focus of the video, just an example of 4 track sample-based song in a ST game as there aren't that many ;)

@@GamePlayMetal opening music is great, but doesn't help your voice or silly accent lmao

Thanks a lot!! I hope it wasn't too dry, I tried my best to explain it to a layman audience!

Music brick by brick. BIG UP GAMEPLAY GUY! First documentary of a long series.

Thank you so much, I wish you could do the same with sector 2 someday, to me it is as magical as sector 1.

Thank you! The second episode will be on xenon 2 (it's 95% done but it's longer and has a lot more editing so it's taking me ages to complete), I didn't intend on speaking about sector 2 because it's a lot more basic in terms of structure etc, but maybe I could make a shorter episode on it? I still have to think about how I'm going to do this series ;)

Très interessant. Je n'avais jamais poussé la refléxion jusqu'a analyser la progression. Ca donne une autre lecture de la composition. Est ce que tu aurais le midifile d'ailleurs ? J'ai cherché sur le net sans succès. :)

I don't comment a lot the net, but i have to do it. It's a really really good job! Dave Whittaker is the best composer i've ever known on amiga. Do you know Paul Van der Valk? He used to compose "Hybris" music? Do you think you could analyse it? Avec toute mon admiration!
@GamePlayMetal4 жыл бұрын
Yeah I'm very familiar with Paul Van Der Valk, who created his own music format and also made great music for the Turbo Imploder, I wish he did more! Unfortunately I must say these videos take quite an enormous amount of time to make and I don't think there's no where near enough people who would be interested in seeing that. Merci !!

@@GamePlayMetal I'm glad you answered! I think you are right. I just can imagine how hard it must have been to do such a thing like that. Maybe a cover of the ingame music? 😉 Take care.
