Hey there, thanks for visiting. My name is Abir and I am a sound designer and music producer from London UK. All the sound design & Visuals in this video have been produced mixed and mastered by myself. My workflow involves many hours designing editing and creating my videos from scratch which I really enjoy and am passionate about. I hope you enjoy my work as I continue to upload more, and would greatly appreciate a Sub 😃
-----------------------------------------------------------
( the Image for this video may not be exactly ww2 related, It was chosen just for fun, so try not to cry about it 😂) anyway the sounds are ww2 specific
Location : Germany
September 12th 1944
The eerie sound of world war 2. It is a rainy dark and moody day in September 1944 Allied Forces engage German military. Gun battles ensue. The terrifying sounds of Stuka planes diving and dropping bombs one after the other. The sounds of German Panzer tanks and American Sherman tanks moving and positioning. Distant gun battles are heard, the sound of M1 rifles and German mp40 is constant near and far.
I wanted to sound design and create a realistic WW2 battle ambience soundscape and came up with this piece of work. I hope you enjoy
If you liked this video then please check out my latest WW1 ambience here :

My great-grandfather was a paraglider in the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne Division, stationed in Britain, Germany and parts of Poland. He helped liberate Wöbbelin , a German concentration camp that was a subcamp of the Neuengamme camp. Although there is footage of it, he is not present in the footage. He was not only a hero to so many, he was my hero. He gave me my first guitar, which I learned to play on when I was 4 years old, which I still own to this day, it is my workhorse and I will make it famous. He was the kindest soul and he lived a good long life, thank you and to all the other KZbinrs who preserve these priceless articles of history! R.I.P. Robert G. Anderson, 1926-2017

I served in desert storm my uncle served in Vietnam. Towards the end of his time I live with him your story about waking up with him was very close to mine. the first couple times I would hear him awake and I would wake up and go and have a cigarette and just talk with him. He didn’t really like it at first. but after a while, he excepted the fact that we were two Marines and my job was to make sure another marine state safe. I didn’t know my uncle very well as a child, but I am so blessed to be able to stay with him and his ending days one soldier, holding another soldier, his final words to me were don’t shed a tear son. And I never have because I know he’s with me every anniversary of his death I go and I salute him as a marine should awesome story.

My grandfather earned the silver star in ww2. He was in the army. He essentially raised me when I was young as my father was active duty navy and often deployed. My grandfather never told me a single detail about his experiences of ww2 no matter how much I wanted to know. He never told anyone in our family. While he was in the hospital once, I asked him for some details for a school project and he talked about how France was beautiful and then immediately bursts out in tears. I have a high level of respect for all veterans and I wish I was able to learn about my grandfathers deployment in ww2 before he passed. But I will never know. He is buried at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetary in Wrightstown New Jersey along with many other heroes. He always had a manhattan with his steak.

Ah yes. Brings back memories of trying to sleep in my fox hole. Clutching my rifle close to my chest and making sure it's loaded. My comrade whispering, "when will this be over?" And the sound of rain water collecting in our helmets just so we can have clean water to drink, but it still tastes like smoke and gunpowder. It's hard to sleep with this sound coming from all around you, but the toughest sound is the one that your own stomach makes. Dawn will be soon now.

My grandfather fought in the Pacific Theatre, was on the first tank that landed and survived Iwo Jima, was involved with the Invasion of Japan, fought in Guam and various other islands, had his custom tank equipped with a flamethrower (his crew was tasked with clearing foxholes and caves, a very grueling job). A great man, never got to meet him. Heard so many stories. My other grandfather passed fighting the Soviet in the rebellion, uncles and cousins in that family either died fighting the Nazis in Poland (or other parts of Eastern Europe) or died by the hands of Communists. The remaining relatives survived the camps (Soviet camps) and fled to safety. My family is full of stories, legacy, heroism, curses, and more. This brings it back and always makes me think how lucky I am that I don’t get to experience what they went through.

this might be a warped, childish turn-on for 17-21yoa couch potatoes. i was not in WW2 (obviously) but honorably served our nation in the military. turn on call of duty video game if you want something (make believe/fantasy) like this. rain and lightening to this would give near "nothing" of what that generation REALLY experienced and achieved. those of that generation that heard these sounds and this; were scared, tired, thinking of family, killing the enemy and staying alive... not on the internet..'chillin in the car or kitchen
