This is awesome but one thing they have to do is get rid of the steel peice that has to be stuck to your guitar! You would only be able to use it on a single guitar... unless you bought more of the metal guitar mounts!! So Sound Brenner should simply make a regular style clip on clamp everyone else uses and just have the watch face connect and disconnect with magnets... that way the tuner can be easy move to diffrent guitars...

Nice demo, Chris...as always. I’m wondering how that “magnet” attaches so readily to wood. Is it so strong that it adheres anywhere in the neighborhood of metal, and how hazardous might that be to other vulnerable elements such as mini-drives etc.?

Hi Chris, Have you tried using the core in Cubase 11 with the tempo from Cubase driving the core. I have struggled to get this to work and I am using the Pulse not the Core. Any thoughts on whether this is viable ? cheers, Andrew

You have the only review I found that mention Timer and Stopwatch. BUT... You didn't explained them. Hahaha Even though I'm a musician and I think metronome, tuner and dB meter are the best features of the watch, I would not buy a watch without Timer and Stopwatch. I'm not convinced of buying it, until I see how those features work. Sounds stupid but, it's important for me LOL

Seems W A Y too gimmicky, as inferred below .. when playing with a band you keep time by hearing / feeling the beat, I don't need to get you to suck eggs ..LOL but as you know, it's the guy on skins keeping it together .However as you suggest it's a great tool for practice. For the songwriter I'm sure they'd have a guitar tuner, so I can't see a use for it at all and if he/she can't keep a beat maybe it's most probably the wrong pastime. As usual you have been thoughtful in the given advice I really enjoyed it . BTW I have been experimenting with the BitFilter2X64 and it's great ..can't find one of your vids on it though ... how about it ... Keep well SR

SOUNDBRENNER CORE - BUYER BEWARE After ten months using my Soundbrenner Core it stopped vibrating. I contacted Rose in their warranty department. She gave me a list of four of five settings to check on my phone app. I use the core separate from the phone app. After checking these settings I reported it still would not vibrate. Not in the warranty agreement,Hong Kong based Soundbrenner, asked me to make a video of the core interacting with the app. Being an older person living alone I do not have a video set up so I sent them a screen shot of the phone app, a picture of the core, and proof of purchase. This was not sufficient and they refused to honor the warranty. The also said the do not extend the one year warranty to you if you do not buy directly from them Vibration is the unique feature of the core. Because it broke after ten months and their onerous warranty demands I would not recommend purchasing the Soundbrenner Core

229 $ ??? WHAT? For a plastic gimmick? I wonder how generations of musicians could keep timing without this or even tune their instruments... You have a smart phone? You already have all the apps you need FOR FREE. For 30 $ - okay... but 229 is a no go for this crap :D
