Many thanks for this link. Hooking-up my FX8 today and was struggling to find drivers. Installed software by following your link and with a couple of minor tweaks I'm now successfully recording to Audacity.

That's a good news for soundcraft users , it looks like most of mixers has some issues, now I noticed that my yamaha has an issue too, when I record the second track on cubase I can hear a little bit of first track sound in it although I turned of the first track speaker icon, wondering if it is cubase setup i need to fix, what you think ??

How are you recording the second track, Mic or line? Do you have your audio routing correct? These days you should never get audio crossover.

@@RecordingStudio9 I'm recording mic on second track no music in my headphones just the metronome , So the first track is mp3 file piano , the second track is harmonica using microphone connected to the first line on yamaha mixer, what you mean audio routing correct, is there any additional setup in cubase that I need to go through ?

Oops, never mind, the problem was from my yamaha mixer, the (to mono) button was on, just disabled it everything is OK now.

My unit is coming in a few days do you know if I have to physically disabled something in Windows or does the fix take care of the whole installation entirely without having to disable on signing and all that stuff? Thank you

@@jackv6477 It is entirely fixed in windows... one thing you need to download is the ASIO V2 Drivers, the drivers and firmwares that comes in the newly updated package does not include ASIO drivers but the WDM drivers only. Just get to the Soundcraft website, install the packages, then restart, then install the asiov2, then restart and configure the asiov2 to your liking, in a daw or something.

i really hope that this works, i bought this for a USB audio inteface. i didn't want to keep restarting my computer to turn off the driver signature to use the Soundcraft notepad 5.

Hello. I am trying to download the 2.0.4 update because I bought the notepad 5 yesterday. Whenever I try to open the application, it says "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." Any solutions please? Thank you!

Hello, i have glitches when reproduces sound, fortunetly this glitchs do not are recorded, but ist too difficult to make a mix hearing glitches... Toshiba a665, Core i5 2.4 ghz 4Gb RAM Notepad 5. At 512samples (enough delay lag) Any recomendation?

Have you tried increasing the buffer even more? It could be that you may have too many VST plugins and i5 is not enough. Experiment with a project with one track and no VST, specially VST instrument, to find out.

Have you installed latest driver ver 2.0.9? It could be a unit faulty.
