Just for a time. Before Cornell there was Prince and MJ. Then, there was Staley and Hoon. Before that was Hendrix and Joplin. Greatness doesn’t end, it just steps aside, making way for the next. peace
@Jwask232 жыл бұрын
@@TacTechMic it's pretty crazy you comment this. Literally about a month or 2 ago I started venturing into music before my time, started listening to more and more mj, watching him perform, obviously we all know Billie Jean and thriller ect. But I started listening to all his stuff. A bit after I did the same with prince. About a week ago I been doing the same with Hendrix.

I’ve always been perplexed by how this song didn’t ERUPT live. Cornell’s voice… this song is equivalent to Kashmir: it’s HUGE. Yet they never let it take off. Would probably undermine what the song is about. The other song that comes to mind within this realm is Blow Up The Outside World. Incredible.

Whatsoever I've feared has come to life And whatsoever I've fought off became my life Just when everyday seemed to greet me with a smile Sunspots have faded, now I'm doing time Now I'm doing time 'Cause I fell on black days I fell on black days Whomsoever I've cured, I've sickened now And whomsoever I've cradled, I've put you down I'm a search light soul they say But I can't see it in the night I'm only faking when I get it right When I get it right 'Cause I fell on black days I fell on black days How would I know That this could be my fate? How would I know That this could be my fate? Yeah Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh So what you wanted to see good Has made you blind And what you wanted to be yours Has made it mine So don't you lock up something That you wanted to see fly Hands are for shaking No, not tying, no, not tying I sure don't mind a change I sure don't mind a change Yeah, I sure don't mind, sure don't mind a change I sure don't mind a change 'Cause I fell on black days I fell on black days How would I know That this could be my fate? How would I know That this could be my fate? How would I know That this could be my fate? How would I know That this could be my fate?

Love this song, Love him, but can you imagine looking out this massive crowd, knowing they are wasted, can't hear anything, wondering why you are doing this? That's what I see from this video. No wonder these musicians are depressed. You have millions of dollars, and they search to find a purpose. Its fun in the beginning and becomes very fleeting I would imagine.
