@@Gleyi07 absolutely amazing song, one of the best ever written. Problem is you listen to it and it goes straight to your brain. Obsession was the right word

Fuck man as a guitar player i feel his loss, who would ever come up with a riff like Limo wreck, vocals aside( we all know he was a god) His guitar playing/songwriting is underrated The Guitar suffered a loss indeed. RIP Chris...

The drummer, Matt Cameron, came up with the riff, but i get what ure saying
@eqx71683 жыл бұрын
I never knew Cameron developed this riff! The statement still rings true. Chris developed some insane riffs and chord progressions that were extremely forward thinking.

The amount of talent in SG was incredible. They were the OGs
@nickford74293 жыл бұрын
@@eqx7168 Cameron also came up with the Mailman riff and a number of others. All 4 of them play guitar and have also brought guitar related material to the table, its great!

RIP Chris! i remember listening to this song in the car with my dad when i was a kid back in 1999, i didn't know what feeble meant, English is not my first language, my dad explained what feeble meant. Such a vivid memory, i even remember the road that we were driving on in Beirut.
Same here. Dude can't be replaced. What a legend he was and still is. 5 damn years.... It feels like a bad dream.

All my favs are getting older..don't know what yall talking about but he sounds better than most newer artists. I expected him to be in a lower key but he can still hit the notes. A bit more choosy which ones to go after but still hella rocks
@safespacebear9 жыл бұрын
also he sings with such intensity that it would be hard to keep that up after these years.

he can hit the notes, but not as much oomph or sustain as in the 90's.. still though the 2 times i saw SG since they reunited were amazing

His voice is still amazing, but age and extra curriculum activities certainly have weakened the strength. He can't sustain those highs with the same intensity as he did back in the day. If I were trapped on an island with one record, it'd be this one. Still one of my favorite voices of all time. Thanks for the video.
@MurphysJif9 жыл бұрын
Cebrin Pitts I know exactly what you are saying. He played westfest here in NZ back in march. The first song they played was spoonman and he was a little off key and weak in the voice. Soundgarden even played BIRTH RITUAL!!! I jizzed my pants. Being wanting to hear that song live since I heard it the first time. He sang the whole song in lower pitch and less power and it wasn't the same. Having said that, it was still amazing seeing SG live again. I loved the show and wish the concert was longer than 2 hours.
7 жыл бұрын
Cebrin Pitts %100..his voice of course faded with age. I am sure that it wasn't just one single reason why. Drugs, smoking, killing his vocal cords. A bunch of factors
@edupquatro6 жыл бұрын
in 1996 Chris began to change his voice and the tone of the songs. it was absolutely impossible to continue singing that way for a long time

RIP Chris Cornell. You'd have hated modern rappers flexing with fancy cars and money. I bet there would be songs about them written by you, that would mock them, remind them of their mortality, while also being one of the greatest song composed with the greatest vocals...
