I don’t believe he killed himself either. He had his act pretty well together it seems and he had plans in the making I’ve heard,ie, making more music and a new love to replace the miserable wretch woman he was with, Vicky Karayiannis. He was likely offed for his money, she couldn’t stand to let that go you know (divorce papers about to be served). Sad. Only the good die young. That’s the price you pay for being a good person.

Benzos are as addictive as narcotics but also insinuate themselves into a person's nervous system in a way that is deeply unsettling. He did not want to die. The drugs cause suicidality, as certain other prescription drugs can--in people who are otherwise totally grounded. It is an epidemic that does not get enough attention. Tragic, in this case.

alternative rock ,although a lotta bands were good, lost its' edge. it became less Cro-mag and more girl-friendly..the sensitive guy...a guy talking about his feelings. That's why gangsta rap (n.w.a., Dr. Dre,Snoop) became so prominent in the 90's. it replaced the egde that rock had years previously (Axl and Co.) at least that's how "alternative rock" acts were packaged.
