The Golden Years of mankind, imo, were after WWII until the 21st century began. Before and after has sucked in their own unique ways. I was blessed to have been born in 1963. 😁😁❤❤👍👍👏👏

@@funshine817 I was born in 1969 and I totally agree. So many great advances in medicine after WWII and lots of civic pride. It has all been falling apart ever since 9/11 and with the introduction of the internet and smartphone.

Ah, a time when women (and people in general) were neither anorexic nor morbidly obese, and when people didn't go before an audience without demonstrable talent. Thanks for finding and sharing this clip.
@wellesradio4 ай бұрын
Actually, tons of people went out before crowds without demonstrable talent. You should really read up on the history of the stage and Vaudeville in particular before commenting. There were a lot of bad acts. Keep in mind that the number of dance halls, parlors, theaters, and more mot only o the circuit but in every town across America. Between the Civil War and the First World War you had a hundred thousand performers trying to make it and standards were low to entry. What you see on film was recorded for a reason. It represents the best, not the average performer.
