One thing I forgot to mention is that all the clips with the shift sample is merely a guide in itself. You don't need shift samples like that to make a good soundmod, all you need is a nice sample, like the other sample I used in the video

Hello, I'm watching this one year after this video was published, and until 10:00 it was great. I'm new to this, I just installed FMOD, which was the only program I needed to download, and I have some problems. Once I jump to FMOD, I can't see the list of folders in the events menu. I'm lost and I've been doing some research in some forums to see how can I get those files to show there, because I can't right now. It would be great if you @GabelS300 or someone watching this could solve my problem, because until here I've been following kinda easily and I'm frustrated as I can't continue :( Thanks in advance ;)

Im still lost with fmod. all im trying to do is copy over some turbo, blowoff valve, 2-step, flutter, etc sounds from one car to another that im working on. My car has 2 turbos and all that, theyre in the files and are controllable and work, but there are no sounds at all regarding turbos. Just wondering how to use fmod to transfer those sounds over from this other car.

For interior sounds, it should be fine if you lower the treble a lot. I recommend NM2255’s dyno videos, the noise of the rollers aren’t too loud so they’re perfect for exterior samples

when i open events its empty meanwhile yours shows all the car files. how do i make them appear?

hmm. This usually happens when you open the defauly .fspro file that you downloaded with the FMOD program. You're supposed to go into assettocorsa>sdk>audio>ac_fmod_sdk_1_9 and click the .fspro already in there. That's Kunos' soundmod template, already set with the proper folders and one bank file to start with.

no matter what i do in audacity theres always some weird clipping when audio transitions from normal to the reverse one. When I put the sound in fmod, theres always some knocking sound and i have no idea how do get rid of it, I tried cutting audio continuously but its always the same.

For some reason whenever i change the camera to an outside view, wether that be in replay or when driving, the sounds are always internal, i've tried to change the settings on all the ac and ac dev apps but I cannot fix anything. I must have changed something that I wasnt supposed to, if anyone knows the issue or how to fix it, that would be really appreciated😁 p.s ive already tried verifying ingame files and the issue persists.

Go to car parameters, the little car icon, scroll down and you will see it says under the sound label it says "Engine Sound"

@@joka8700 audacity itself can do it too. select the track or part of the track, go to effects > pitch and tempo > sliding. Basically it's like the same pitch line, but no visual indication. You'll want to change only the Final Pitch semitone. Apply and test, if dissatisfied, undo, and repeat effect > pitch >sliding etc. To reverse the copy of the track, click that track again, then effects > special > reverse.
