Hi. I'm a gentleman from the UK who visited Philadelphia three years ago (as part of a mini tour of America) and I just could not resist having my photo taken outside the old Sigma studios building (212 North 12th). During my teenage tears I went clubbing in the south of England in the mid-70's when this wonderful music of the Gamble & Huff era was in full swing. And do you know what? I STILL love it to this day. God bless America. God bless Philadelphia.

Between NYC & Memphis; we have Philly. We had had Bandstand. We have the Mummers String Bands (No professionals permitted), Wanamaker 0rgan [foot treadles can be played as two manuals instead of one] so that one can play a quartet or four sections with multi voices for each. - Free concerts.

We certainly do, but a block from Sigma Studio in Chinatown, 90 % masked. Is ignorance(of the efficacy of masks) bliss? No, and in this case, it's torture, esp in the Summertime heat!
