I have the same issue at the gym; when I'm clenching my teeth during a set my right earbud tends to lose traction. I have some Airpods Pro and even with 3rd party wing attachments they're difficult to keep in. I currently have the SoundPEATS True Wings and they're okay, but I feel I have to keep shoving the buds in my ear. I've got some Soundcore Spirit X2's coming tomorrow so I can try those out. I think that the perfect TWS would be the Truengine 3SE with added wing tips + better/clearer mics Strange ... the Truengine 2 and even the older SE model have much clearer mics ... nit sure why SoundPEATS went backwards with the new SE3

Id pay extra 30$ for wing tips, clear mics, quick and wireless charging and in-ear detection. Plus more for ambient mode and ANC. Though I don't think this is possible without increasing the size of the buds. Don't like to have them too bulky.

@@tgmtf5963 Sound quality is exactly the same as @Picky mentioned in video but issue lies with dual drivers support. I don't know if it is my phone compatibility issue or something else but connecting these buds does gives me hard time because ideally they should connect with each other when I take them out but my pair does not do that and instead I have to manually connect other one from Bluetooth settings.

I haven't had any luck with faulty Truengine 2, other than this: - The waterproofing membrane peels off after a while, as the glue will melt over time. So, I do not recommend the truengine 2 to the athlete. The 3SE braided metal file waterproofing membrane looks much more durable, so much more suitable for sport. - The sound is great for this price. The bass is very good, it will satisfy most bass addicts. With the exception of certain Hardcore songs (eg The Pain - Nosferatu), which undermines the responsiveness of the truengine 2 and randomly clicks the speaker membrane. In summary, at this price, the sound is great from Chopin to Dr peacock, but avoid RAW and everything that comes close to it. Thanks for your video, price my decision is. I recall my faulty truengine 2 and order the 3SE. 😊 J’ai pas eu de chance avec des Truengine 2 défectueux, à part ça : - La membrane d’étanchéité ce décolle au bout d’un moment, car la colle finis par fondre avec le temps. Donc, je déconseille les truengine 2 au sportif. La membrane d’étanchéité en files de métal tressé du 3SE à l’air beaucoup plus durable, donc bien plus adapté au sport. - Le son est génial pour ce prix. Les bass sont très bonnes, elles satisferont la plupart des bass addict. Exception faite de certains morceaux Hardcore ( ex : The Pain - Nosferatu ), qui mettent à mal la réactivité des truengine 2 et font claquer aléatoirement la membrane des haut-parleur. En résumé, à ce prix, le son est super de Chopin à Dr peacock, mais éviter le RAW et tout ce qui s’en rapproche. Merci pour ta vidéo, ma décision est prise. Je renvoie mes truengine 2 défectueux et je commande les 3SE. 😊

@Picky Audio They showed up at my house today! I gotta say these do not disappoint, I’m extremely impressed by the value per dollar these things have. The only tedious thing is that they don’t automatically switch to mono when you’re using only one earbud, but protip, if you’re on iPhone you can make a Siri shortcut to toggle that right from your home screen, so it’s a compromise I can definitely live with.

Nice video. Btw I don't think you take out the 3SE earbud to check the case total battery life. You can just 1 or 2 tap on the buds touch panel and it will show you the case battery life. This method also works with Trueshift 2.

Nice review thanks. How well do the 3SE hold in during runs? I’ve been eying off the Trueshift 2’s for this but if the 3SE can stick well enough I might grab those. They should bring a pair out with wings to make them the ultimate pair.

In my tests they have stayed in my ears fine when running even when sweating. For other reviewers the fit hasn’t been great so it really comes down to the individual. My ear canals are pretty deep so they are pretty secure for me.

Gotta say, I owned both the SE and 3SE and no matter what I did they wouldn't stay in my ears for more than a few minutes at a time. I was constantly having to smush them into my ear, in fact the reason I upgraded to the 3SE is because my left SE just fell out one day and completely stopped working when it hit the ground. The foam tips do help somewhat but nowhere near enough.

Hi .. one of the things you don't say is what size of ear tip you use when testing. I've found large size ear tips dramatically increase the bass and warmth of the sound due to a far better seal. What size do you use when testing?

Got them today for $32 and they sound amazing, Im comparing them to my Sennheiser momentum true wireless ear buds. its shocking how good they sound.the Truedot are not as detailed in all the frequencies but the areas you need clarity and pop they shine enough to not disappoint at all when switching over to them. probably about to grab the 3SE now as I would love a pair of dual drivers to play around with

I bought the SE1 oxn may, and it took 3 months to arrive. I've been using them for 3 days now and I'm in love, but what I'm hating the most is that I waited 3 months and the SE2 came out and finally the SE3 for like $10 more than the originals. So... I have the Sabbat e12, the Pioneer SE-E8TW-H and love them both, but want a third pair as I listen literally all day and most of the night, and they are each good for their own thing but the Pioneer battery sucks compared to the e12 and are too big to lay on a pillow with, and e12 is perfect for that and wind noise and bass is deeper. So curious how the 3SE stack up to the e12

The biggest differences are the earbuds being more compact, more comfortable and if you prefer touch controls then I would say yes. (The touch controls are really great). So it could be worth but it comes down to what you’re after 😊

Yet to test the sabbat but going off reviews you’re most likely getting more bass on the sabbat but a cleaner experience on the 3SE. The 3SE still is bass heavy though

Hey man, great vid! Im actually want to pick up one of these for a gift. She is using Iphone 11, all the reviews i’ve seen is actually in favor 3SE. What Made me a bit reserved to get 3SE is that it doesn’t have AAC Codec? U said u tested these on ur IPhone XS. Does it really matter and so on? Thx a lot for the vid anyway! Very informative! Looking forward on ur thoughts on the codec thing.

The Liberty 2 pros are quite a bit better sounding to me. I have both and easily prefer the Liberty 2 pros.

I have not tested the liberty 2 pro yet but thanks Errol for letting us know. I’ve noticed reviewers compare them closely to the Sony WF 1000xm3 and they are still my no.1 for sound quality. The precision and detail in the mids and highs are simply better.

@@pickyaudio Hey quick question. I bought the 3SE and sometimes at the gym the right or left earbud beeps and cuts off a bit. Has this ever happened to you ? It seems like when this happens I put it back in the case and take it out it resets and is good after.

Under 100 the lypertek tevi provide amazing clarity in the mids and highs which deep natural bass. Under 50 the truengine 3SE would be my next pick. You’re not getting The same amount of clarity as the tevi but it’s still very solid and you get a lot more bass that isn’t overpowering though. 😊

I can’t say for sure cause I haven’t tested the e60, but going off other reviewers, ElHefe, Gamesky and some others at that price the 3SE seem to be the best for sound quality

Microphone volume is pretty low but it’s been fine on phone calls for me. The fit for me works fine with any kind of training but fit is different for everyone
