I saw this review last night about the difference in cables and tried it this morning. It's like coil whine, a staticy high pitch noise. it's really noticeable when I stop the music and there's no audio playing, but always there through the music too albeit hard to spot. One was worse than the other. Have you noticed anything like that from your pair?

@pickyaudio4 жыл бұрын
Defiantly overall better than AirPods. My current favourite for sound quality would be the Sony WF-1000XM3 and if the Sony’s were a 10/10 I would give the 3SE about and 8/10. You’ll notice the difference when comparing to more expensive options but it’s not a huge difference 😊
@m.tammekivi4 жыл бұрын
Hey, player! I loved your review, very extensive and comprehensive! I do have a few questions, though: Firstly, since they have a TWS+ connection, how do the earphones list in the Bluetooth menu? Do they appear listed as a single pair or are left and right earphone separate listings? Could you theoretically pair one earphone with one device and the other earphone with another device? Secondly, do you experience driver flex these earphones, if you know what I mean? I really don't like the noise the flexing makes and it may have ultimately exhausted my FIIL T1 X right earphone to the point where it sounds less clarified and quieter. Thirdly, what sounds do the earphones make when interacting with them? Is there beeping or voice for feedback? Finally, if you turn the volume loud enough, could you actually see the drivers vibrate through the transparent plastic? Thanks!
@pickyaudio4 жыл бұрын
Hey Matt thanks for the comment! I love these questions, this gives me some great ideas to put in my videos. I don't think you can just pair one. They come up as one earbud on bluetooth settings and you need to take both earbuds out to pair. I have not experienced any flex yet but it has only been 3 weeks. I honestly don't think Iv'e experienced this with any earbuds though. You have a voice indicator for pairing, power on, connected and disconnected as well as a subtle beep when you play, pause and skip tracks. I can't see the drivers vibrate at full volume even with bass heavy tracks. Hope this all helps :)

Just got mine yesterday, for the price they are amazing, the case feels a bit flimsy, the lid does not stay open, it will close on you if you tilt it even slightly, (this guy knows it and never lets go off the lid, cmon man be honest). The buds feel good quality and do look premium, plus you don´t look like an idiot (airpods pro or bose´s frankenstein). Audio is very good, not amazing but very impressive still for the price. I have heard complaints about phone calls, poeple can´t understand me with them. A good buy and something you could afford to loose if it comes to that.
@carrotorangeshake4 жыл бұрын
I just bought myself one! Sound great listening to music alone. However, the sound degrades during calls, like I can't hear who I'm speaking to as clear as if I were to wear wired earphones. And if I play music at the same time, the music degrades too. Does that happen to you?
@pickyaudio4 жыл бұрын
I’m glad you like the sound! I’ve never tried listening to music when on a call But for phone calls make sure your volume is turned up all the way. If it still happens try restarting your phone, that might work 🙌

Yea the fit isn’t the best on these for some sadly. Maybe try ordering some different style of eartips online? You can get find cheap ones on eBay that might work better for you

Im using the largest ones they come with and my right ear still doesn't feel as secure as my left. Don't know if the next largest size will fit my ear at all xD One thing I think is worth mentioning is that although these aren't super bassy, they can be if you want them to. With Poweramp EQ, these got bassy to the point of insane while still having decent to good clarity. I think adding an EQ response section to your videos is a good idea, since it let's people know how much the sound can be fine tuned via an EQ :))))

I'm between these and Fill T1x. I like a mildly elevated bass that doesn't affect the mid, forward mids, I really hate harsh treble but definitely don't like them to be rolled off, love big sound stage, so which one do you recommend?

I haven’t tested those but gamesky recently did a top 10 and rated the T1X at 7 on his list and the SoundPEATS at 2. Again it’s hard to say since I haven’t tried them but if sound stage is a big thing everyone has been talking about how good it is on the true engine 3 and I would agree 😊

It definitely gets heavy and deep, I’m a bass head and I find this is a perfect amount where you get enough to get that rumble but the mids and highs are still really clear. Hi, could you please tell me which one's better.. TrueShift2 or TrueEngineIIISe when it comes to call & microphone quality and fit? I guess TrueShift2 starts to hurt a bit after sometime.

I am also looking for the answer. From many reviews, i think trueshift 2 has better call quality. But unfortunately the fin hurts if it's used for an hour or so. Truengine fits nice without fin, but the call quality seems quite muffled. Please give your opinion @Picky Audio 🙏
@pickyaudio4 жыл бұрын
I basically agree with Rio here. I compared old recordings and the true shift 2 picks up voice better and both are equal with how much background noise they block out. The true shift 2 has a more secure fit but only slightly. The SE are more comfortable but again only slightly and that is just for me this could of course be different for everyone. The 3SE are slightly more comfortable. Build quality is of course better on the Sony’s though. Touch controls are equally as good on both. You’ve got a more compact case with the 3SE and more battery life. Hmm that’s about all I can think of 😊
