They actually came out as a group in the 1972. They met in Philadelphia in 1966. Recorded music together since the late 60's. Just random tracks, here and there.

I knew Daryl drew wacky cartoons, as they're all over the place in their biography book Dangerous Dances, which came out in late 1984 (maybe 6-8 months after this interview methinks), I had no idea he loved comic books (I would LOVE to know which ones), and I'm not surprised he's a Zippy fan

I feel ya Daryl. I know you're there. I like how Daryl is humble and real in this. And more genuine talkative, like he is trying to make conversation. I wish we could be friends. But I just have to stand in line, and wait my turn.

THIS is the Daryl that I want for myself. Can I have him? Can I just reach back in time, and take him?! This was the year I was 18, and I would have loved to have him as my boyfriend. And since Daryl's heart is for LOVE, and he sings good love songs, then he could teach me about love. Nothing seemed to last that long for me when I was that young, but at least I would have been taught a better way from Daryl, than what I actually experienced back then.

So what was this program called SOUNDS from 1984?
@jennyt76122 жыл бұрын
Leon, it was a wonderful show on every Saturday morning in Australia - am not certain but think it was in Sydney & Melbourne. It was on from 1974 till 1987. Donny Sutherland was a very good host as he had an enormous amount of music knowledge & there was plenty of great music. My husband & I both loved the show & watched it almost every week.
