Such beautiful bills and the coins have such intricate designs! I think my favorite was the 10 pounds. Pretty little hummingbird!
@SOUNDsculptures11 жыл бұрын
Yes, I think they're beautiful too. The higher the face value, the more luxurious the note. The £20 note has changed drastically in the last decade. It never used to be this big or with such rich purple tones, and never had so many hologram shiny bits. The really interesting bit for me are the coins. Sometimes you get coins, like the two pence piece in this video, and the design is strange as it runs off the edge of the coin. If anyone is interested, go to a search engine and type in 'British Coins' and look at the images. You'll see that if you put all the coins flat down on a surface, they make up the Royal Shield of Arms. It's fascinating. I wish I'd shown it in my videos but I was trying to not let it run over into too long a video.
@triggerhappysound11 жыл бұрын
***** I found a picture on my phone today that I'd taken over Xmas of the coins making up the Royal Shield of Arms. I'd never have even noticed something like that in the first place, had you not mentioned it, so thanks!

I love this! And I can't remember for sure if you said this or not, but I think I remember you saying you weren't big on making pure tapping videos. But I saw you tapping a little in one video (I can't remember which one). But holy crap... Those few seconds gave me massive chills. It's so hard to find people who are good. I love how you gently tap on objects with your fingertips. Even though you're probably not fond of that particular trigger, I thought you should know you're very good at it. :)
@SOUNDsculptures10 жыл бұрын
Hi PurpleJive! You're very kind, thank you. It's funny you know that you mention this because only a couple of days ago I started thinking about this subject, and wondering if people would be interested if I did a few purely tapping videos. You are right in thinking that I've shied away from it for the most part, though in all of my 'Curiosity Box' videos (there are three now on my channel) I do tap. Hmm. If you have any specific request I would be happy to help. Helen :)
@PurpleJive9 жыл бұрын
Haha! Oh you have? :D I know I'm probably not the only person who has mentioned how good you are at tapping, because you're awesome! I'd love if you did one! Boxes tend to be my favorite surface for tapping, and I've noticed they're pretty popular. Also, my favorite video that you did was the one where you're unboxing something and using a scalpel. The way you gently cut open the box was such a trigger! You really are talented in ASMR! :D
