Hi Everyone Just wanted To Run A Test Of The Soundstream TXP1.18000D @ 1 Ohm To See What Kinda Power It Makes.
Unsure Of Rise But Very Happy With Results
Meter- Spl Labs Wireless Bass Meter Third Edition
Voltage- 15.6v

Box rise has been a popular topic lately. Essentially the ohms are the highest at your loudest frequencies thus putting out less power. To fight this you need to show the Amp like 0.25 ohm then burp 40hz 💪

The sound you're hearing is from my speakers i have in it's own box. Unfortunately the filter wasn't tuned to keep all of the bass out and that sound was the result

Can someone DEFINITIVELY, no guessing. Please tell me how the hell do you set these amps up when they come with both HPF AND LPF without any switching between the two? For example I've got the TXP2.6500 2CH, how would you set the crossovers when you're pushing subs?

The lpf is where the subs cap is and the hpf is just like the subsonic on other amps. You set it to the lowest u want your subs to play

With the txp or any amp similar i just tune them to the lowest point. So every setting will be at the lowest point and u only adjust the gain

I dunno why man, but there's just a noticeable difference between using an Amp with full range like this, versus my 1800 audiopipe monoblock that was capable of rattling the panels on my car. It would POUND. Pushing two 12" kicker L7s DVC 2ohm wired down to 1ohm. My audiopipe I need to have a competent technician diagnose and repair, I miss it. There's a diode or something blown on it, causing continuity across positive and negative power terminals. That I've yet to find. So..... Either my L7s somehow have come damage, or there's just an obvious difference pushing subs with a monoblock versus a full range

@Aaron Leon if you have dual 2 ohm subs are you wired to 1 ohm per channel? The txp2.6500D allows for 1 ohm per channel or 2 ohm bridged. Should be comparable in power to the Audiopipe 1800. But musically a half bridge monoblock like yours would sound better

You can do that but using just one side of the rca to the amps input would work just fine

Lol have u ever ran one at 1 ohm that blew? If you're saying this because of the amp dyno then you are definitely misinformed. I and alot of other have ran this amp at 1 ohm daily without issues
