Does this head unit have time delay, what are the high and low pass filter settings can you adjust the roll off of those filters? One of the most important features of a head unit are the audio control options and they were glanced over in 2 seconds.

I showed the crossover values possible, no adjustable slopes, simple 12 dB slopes. No time alignment. Pause the video, bro!

I have re-watched it and paused it, you telling me to pause it still doesn't answer those question. In the video you just say it has 10 band eq and a high pass and low pass filter and then go in balance and fader controls. All we see on the video is the 160hz low pass sub option.... Idk if there are other screens, what the highpass filters are, what the other low pass filters are or if they are even there. That's what really makes me less likely to roll the dice on a head unit like this, is being completely blind to the audio options and dsp features. I understand you can always buy a dsp. But I'm spending hundreds of dollars on a head unit, I think if it can link to my phone and play a movie I should be able to control the sound the same as a dsp. If I'm shopping for a head unit its nice to know those options. That's all, didn't mean to offend.

Dope review ! Does this unit support Dual Zone ? I'd love the ability to play video from one source, but audio from another simultaneously . Apparently, it's little brother (the VRCPAA-7DR) has this feature, but I cant find anywhere confirming the feature on this unit. Thanks in advance guys.

I've never taken the time to learn this aspect of car audio , so maybe someone can sum it up for me? How would this type of unit stack up against my Pioneer avh-2330nex? I've got an amp and subs. My mids/his are JBL 3 ohm and run off head unit and sound fantastic. My sound quality overall is damn near perfect for me, would a unit like this be better or worse? I really don't NEED a new unit, but my Pioneer is old and something inside it buzzez , so it's getting close to retirement. But these units always give me the impression it won't produce the same quality as a Pioneer or Kenwood or Sony etc

Is down to how much you willing to spend and features man. I have kenwood excelon x998 in my obs Chevy sounds amazing. I have old soundstream subs in that truck and im just looking to upgrade my Camry radio with this one since I want the latest features without breaking my bank. Kenwood radios like this one can go easy 1k alone.

I have a 2007 ford edge..my stereo sort of sits pushed in in a tight space...a normal 7in fits fine but alot of the over sized screens dont account for that space...can anyone tell rather or not this deck will fit

The biggest thing they need to do (aside from fixing spelling errors) is even out the frequency response. -2.5db at 50hz and a 0.72V drop between 40hz and 1Khz is unacceptable. This thing is going to have no bass response without some serious tweaking.

Yes you can by mirroring. Both of those setting are adjustable.

The floating screen sits way out far. If i wanted to get it more flush mount, does it seem to be able to get modified to oush the screen in tight? I know if it dont move ever again its ok, never will use cd anyways. Please help me on this. Great review!!!!

@@SoundstreamTVNetwork its missing a basic DSP stuff, video didnt show, high pass crossovers or low pass crossover values(160hz) or slope values, head unit is missing time alignment options, I bet it also has no source level adjustment either to prevent usb songs from being 10x louder than the radio..... yet these are audio options a $180 single din pioneer has....
