Congrats on your purchase. Hope you are enjoying the head unit. Unfortunatly We do not still have this unit and since it has been over 2 years since we did the review, I don't remember how much it moves.

When I had it, I just paired it like any other bluetooth device and didnt have any issues.

It does android mirroring not Apple. Only thing you could do is stream music via Bluetooth

Ben i purchased this radio for a 2012 Nissan Altima and my installer tried using a Schoche kit with it and had to trim the bezel because of he arm mechanism for top screen is this not a standard size double din? he also was unabel to us the PAC swi-RC TO RETAIN STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS. its a nice unit and really sounds great but do you have any advise for this issue? can you point me in the right direction as there is little to no information online. by the way for those on the fence good power from 17 watt rms per channel. lots of cool extras in gui and gps.

NFALU it is a DDIN unit. All depends on how your vehicles opening is set up. Also, we didn't set up the steering wheel controls as our test vehicle doesn't have them.

can you switch both screens, it will be great to play videos for the kids on the upper screen and put the phone controls in the bottom one. doesn it come come with all the wiring necessary or you bought that seperate. would it fit my ram 1500 2015 unit or i will need a different dash install kit and wire harness. the video is great and i really want one. thank you for taking the time to do this review

You would need to get an install kit to both fit the opening of the Dodge as well as a wiring kit. This is standard with all head units. Due to the fact that some manufacturers wire functions through the stereo's you need the wiring kit.

only if you did some creative wiring with a switch to turn on the backup camera and a second switch to change between front and back camera

you could have waze running though bluetooth, but I can't say if screen mirroring would work for the app. i don't have the unit anymore to test. sorry

No it won't. I believe this is done as a safety feature. I'm not sure you would be able to display gauges on the top screen unless you are sending the image to the head unit via another device.

the top screen gets in the way of the air-conditioner/heat vents exit vents, limiting their full potential. Why must I spend $300.00 for this unit...that may down the road cause serious problems.

Yes, I was using the S5. As of right now, none of the newer phones using USB-C work with this head unit
