This recipe changed my life lol. I have to bring this to every event now, I should have kept it between me and my partner but I shared it with some others and I get requests monthly to make it again. I started with this recipe as a general jumping off point, but use corn starch and occasionally some shrimp paste. Do not fear the shrimp paste or msg it is a game changer!

Mandy, Xie xie! I just tried this recipe, and it's the best Chinese food I have made to date; two weeks ago I tried the 3 Treasures of the Earth for a party; BIG HIT!! I can't wait until my Nigerian wife and kids finally arrive to America so they can try Chinese food that is ABSOLUTELY better than take out!

I just finished making this recipe a few minutes ago for my mom. It’s her first day back to work and i wanted to make her something delicious that I haven’t tried before (basic lunch ideas like: sandwich, salad, wrap) and it’s soooo good!! I had to go to 2 different supermarkets to find the correct things lol, but it was totally worth it! I’m excited for her to come home and try it! Thank you so muchh for this recipe! I’ll probably make your other ones another day

I have added peanut butter to chilli (cowboy chilli, lol) and I love how it thickens the sauce and gives another layer of flavor to the beans. But now I'm out of peanut butter! Can I skip the peanut butter or should I replace it with something else? What's a good substitute?!?

I agree with Dawid Giemza! This youtube was excellently prepared with superb camera work! And, she took the time to include her recipe with the quantities of ingredients! A great help to me. I was able to copy the recipe which allowed me to prepare a shopping list, do the necessary shopping for the ingredients that she included and then follow her, step by step, as she prepared this meal. This was excellent entertainment! I am happy to subscribe! BTW, you do not have to make this in a wok! A hefty cast iron skillet will also work, but the meal will not taste as great! LOL! Per Dawid's remarks, Thanks, Mandy!
