I use these for smoothie cubes. For soup I just use a large plastic container. I just freeze it and take it out when I’ll use it instead of cubes in a bag. I find that step unnecessary unless you have small kids

now to the cubes, great invention! I got silicone icecube trays and they are great - but they would benefit from a wire in the top for filling and not spilling :) I am always looking for a better way to arrange my freezer! Pullout drawers with adjustable width, oh the possibilities! Yes I have an upright freezer and it is no better than a chest freezer, you are always digging in the back or the bottom. you know my instagram handle (gestern39) - now following soupercubes.... this cubes will be the best thing to freeze leftovers - I have glass bowls in my freezer all the time with a left over one meal portion; then I wonder where my glass bowls are..... though I could "pop" the frozen stuff out I suppose.... cubes work much better for popping out!

Souper Cubes has really good freezer organization ideas on their Instagram! It makes me want a standing freezer so badly! Hahaha, yes I understand that feeling of "where are my containers?!" all too well. Half of my plastic storage boxes are in the freezer!

Supermajority!!!! It's this really cool organization that is all about empowering women to vote, get govt positions - basically, women make up over half the population, but that isn't at all represented in the workplace, govt, etc. I got the shirt in white and grey, along with some buttons and stickers. They are also doing a collaboration with this suiting brand called Argent and have this fabulous hot pink suit that I keep thinking about ordering (but it's nonrefundable, only exchangeable for a different size, but I'm so tall and have broad shoulders, so definitely could have sizing issues!).

Yup, I'm 6 feet tall! Lucky for me, the cropped look for pants is really in style these days. :D. I actually have started to buy some men's clothes (mainly Oxford shirts and a couple pairs of jeans) because I just love the way they fit (and the pockets in the pants are HUGE). I also have size 11 feet, so I've gotten quite good at finding pants and shoes that fit me!

I can imagine those pant pockets, women's pants have wannabe pockets😊 I wear my hubby's sweatshirts, they are too big, but nice and long and I have to roll all sleeves up anyway.

There is a contraption called a soup maker. I saw it on eBay. You put in vegetables, cheese and milk and then you push a button.

I love my Souper Cubes, but when I want to have a serving it seems to take forever to defrost! I have tried stovetop, microwave, and setting on the counter. Any tips for the best/fastest way to defrost???

Glad you are enjoying your Souper Cubes (did you see them on Shark Tank?!)! I really don't have great advice about thawing it out - I always just put the frozen cubes in a sauce pan and let it cook on medium until it's all melted. I let one side melt down a bit, then rotate and scrape off the soup that has softened. If you know you are going to eat something from the freezer, you could always take it out a few hours before you are going to eat it (but I know when I reach for my frozen cubes of soup, it's kind of in a last-minute desperate attempt to make something relatively healthy when I have little energy or desire to do real cooking...so I definitely am not one to plan on thawing out frozen cubes in advance).

I LOVE smoothies and i can totally see myself making fresh squeezed juice and freezing it / using them as my “ice” component in smoothies! I’m currently staying with my moms during the pandemic, though, and she’s unnofficially been known in our family as the soup queen. Last weekend she made chili and then ALSO broccoli cheddar soup in the same day. The leftovers were INSANE and i dare say some will be going in the trash because we just didn’t have enough space on deck for what we normally use. This could be super useful for my family and me!
