I’ve been drinking it for about 10 years. I replaced sodas with it. It’s delicious. Delicious with water or sparkling water.

I saw someone cut up the scoby after washing it and putting it in a jar of honey. He also drizzled honey and ate it. I am going to do that with one of my scobies just to try it. No sense throwing it out if it is good for you.

The more you remove from your diet the more your body is going to not want it anymore. You shouldn’t remove so much unless your ok with being limited

Pro tip. Don't ever order a 1/4 beef. Someone is almost always losing out on prime cuts. Order a 1/2 or whole beef to not get ripped off.

I found that peaches take about 3 minutes - and these were very ripe peaches. Not sure why mine took so much longer. Took me 1 1/2 hours just to get to the point of peeling them (30 of them)

Honey has antibacterial properties from what I heard , is it not a good idea to avoid adding it to kombucha.

I'd really l8ke to know if you can get a fermentation with that dehydrated scoby.. Technically you should be able to IF it really does have live culture in it. Please try it.. my curiosity is torturing me 🫣
@hennesseyme91122 ай бұрын
That is not dehydrated and other people said yes you can use a dehydrated scoby but it takes months to wake it up so I would not do it.

I love store bought kombucha but couldn’t stand the stuff I made myself. I finally got to try Jun a couple of days ago and loved it, I have a SCOBY coming in a few days. Hopefully my second ferments work with this.

My first time using a jun scoby. The starter tea was super cloudy and only got worse when I fermented. It was super sour 1 cup of honey didn’t get it sweet at all. I tasted after 6 days and it was super sour and more cloudy and gave me a headache and nausea. Should I throw it out? Please help!!!

This was very helpful. I have a standard freezer like the one on your left and I talked with my boyfriend about splitting a quarter cow with him. Looks like I will be upgrading my freezer (we are carnivore so it’ll be full of just the cow).
