All is fine, but don't even give a hint that Dravid is to be blamed! Saurav was going thru a prolonged lean form (a slow painful century against Zimbabwe is no good), and lacking the level of physical fitness required at international level. The only reason why he was holding his position till then was because he was the captain. Agreed, not everything went right, but during that time, Saurav himself didn't exactly help himself either.

I suggest u read the book...he doesn't blame Dravid...What he says was Dravid did not resist him but he did not try to resist Greg either...and let's face it...Greg was a shit coach...Sachin, Bhajji, Yuvi, VVS came out openly in his support...Sachin spoke to Sharad Power...and eventually helped him in come back in Pakistan...Bhajji spoke in press...Got a show cause from bcci but still did it...they openly displayed their loyalty in love...I respect Dravid..great player...but there's one thing about bieng a captain you gotta back you players even when they have a bad tour...that's how you build a team....Dravid wasn't a good captain...ad he did have role in what was called the Chappel fiasco...Read Chappel's biography and you will know how many wrong notions Chappel had about Ganguly and the fact that he wanted him out... irrespective of performance....

@@amateur_artist_storiesmand3853 this is a story that is created by Ganguly's team unfortunately because Rahul is too much of a gentleman to come out and say his bit. He was the one who actually picked up the slack for Ganguly when Indian cricket was at a tough juncture with the fight between Ganguly and Chappell. There is a lot of things he did that were wrong and he had to go at that time and not just his bad form. Dravid gets very unnecessary flak for Ganguly's mistakes. He has been more committed and selfless towards Indian cricket than Ganguly.
