you gotta remember folks, this is nieche audience. the guy does some amaaaaazing work. one of the best tutorial series especially on this topic, very usefull, very easy to follow. And also like one of the few not using Fnaf models or ponies or whatever you kids are into theese days (no offense, I just don't get it , that's my problem) So he does this amazing work for us for free, if he could live of that, in like a perfect world or whatnot, this would be much more frequent! unless we pay him, I don't expect him to get so much time into a video series, that does not pay off in any way!

The issue with 2 maps merged into one in hammer, you can't have more than one global light (light_environment), so it means that if you have 2 maps each with different lighting options you will get stuck only with one :\

theorerically we could update the light_environment with some console command.. timing it would be a challenge though

Lets say I want to make an opening scene with a scout running down a road. Then I want the scene to transfer to the scout doing something like laying on the ground after falling (Without animating the fall). How would I do that?

yeah umm when i click on the second map i want it doesent say wrong map loaded so whatever. i go to the second clip and load the other map i want, i go back into clip one and its the map its the same map i chose for shot 2 :|

I did the part where you load the map in element viewer for shot 1, and shot 2, and the maps are different, and it doesn't say "WRONG MAP LOADED!"

The one with the orange circle in the middle is called stage.bsp (larger one is stage_big.bsp). The map with nothing in it is called black_void.bsp. Hope that helped!

I did something wrong... I did exactly what you did, EXACTLY, to test. I did the shot 1 as stage small then stage big. The map didn't change. SFM changed something it no longer works.

+VinsGolden Gaming Well that's easy. 1. Make sure it's in .wav format. It won't work so well in other formats 2. Place the .wav file into your Steam\SteamApps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\usermod\sound folder.
