I ceramic coat everything. Cars, wheels, windows, snow plows/blowers, my snowmobile and ATVs, boat, wife, first born son. You cannot beat this stuff. Seriously alien technology.

Really good video. I actually think hydrophobic coatings make it so that light water such as rain can't clean off the brake dust as easily. I noticed this on my windshield with a ceramic coating. It was so hydrophobic the windshield washer fluid didn't really clean bugs off well anymore because the surface is not easily wet unless it's totally flooded. The Sonax might be a hydrophilic type coating. The Fusso did well probably because it's fluorinated and more omniphobic.

The Fusso Coat was very impressive for a relatively inexpensive wax. I have the old version of Fusso Coat but it was difficult to work with and tough to remove until you had just the right conditions. The newer EU version supposedly is a better user experience for application and removal. I am going to get a can of that and use that as my protection on my rims from now on. It looks like it actually does withstand some of the heat and looked just as good as a ceramic coating. That Fusso Coat is without a doubt the most durable wax/sealant on the market today, hands down. Whatever magic Soft 99 puts in that Fusso Coat is amazing. Use Fusso on both your paint and your wheels and your vehicle's paint will be well protected for many years! I would imagine it would work well on anything you have such as vehicles, lawn mowers, farm equipment, motorcycles, four wheelers, etc. You can probably use it to coat other metallic objects you may have as well that you want to protect from the elements. The only thing better than the can of Fusso Coat would be a spray Fusso Coat (not the Fusso spray they have currently which is too weak compared to the can of Fusso Coat and is a maintenance topper I guess). I am talking a spray coating with the logentity of Fusso Coat but with the easy of a detail spray in application, now that would be an amazing product. The only one even close to a spray Fusso Coat that I have used personally is Polishangel Viking Spritz.

Now this a good example of products reviews! I wish all product reviews are like this. Show how to use, use it, and then include the results AFTER using it. Most, if not all others just show you how to use. Missing the most important of all- how did the product perform after using it? Thanks so much for this video. It's one-of-a-kind!

From a price point perspective, what is your recommendation?
@PeteyMcSavage4 жыл бұрын
Great job! I have tried a few coating u used they were all pretty good. Here is something crazy there is a Japanese pro line called kisho its $10 for the wheel coating but shipping is expensive but it’s best I used it is a self level coating you apply like stance one direction and then don’t touch it. The coat it leave is so much thicker and more durable it’s like opti clear coat restorer but leaves a ceramic clear coat. It was very unique.

That Alibaba stuff is unreal, I mean for like 8 bucks why not give it a shot. Just got a brand new 24 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and that's what is going on the rims. Was thinking Gyeon Rim as I'm a fan of their other products but come on, how could I not at least give Turllin a go?
@ashc3765 Жыл бұрын
I used the Gyeon mohs on my rims as I had fair bit left over after doing car. And after a year they still as good as new with just basic cleaning. Glass black wheels too so there not the easiest to keep clean without some sort of coating.

I just ordered a new set of Forged BBS wheels for my ‘21 STI… they are arriving w/o tires. If I do the ceramic coating before the tires are put on will the weight stickers adhere to the wheels properly when they are balanced or do I need to do the ceramic coating after the wheels are balanced?
@SourceGarage3 жыл бұрын
I would let them be balanced first. It shouldn't really effect the weight stickers adhesion, but I wouldn't want those hands and whatever else will touch the rim in the balancing process to mess up your coating. By coating after you can polish out any imperfections from the balancing process and start with a perfect finish and coating
@FreshlySnipes3 жыл бұрын
@@SourceGarage makes sense. I ended up going with the Kamikaze ceramic wheel coating, I appreciate the info! I’m using my factory Yokohama Advan tires on the new wheels and since they are currently on the car it might be a hassle to do the coating after they are installed. As long as the balancing magnets don’t fall off I should be good lol. I’d like to find some balancing magnets that aren’t bright silver for my new wheels tho.
