You are exactly and precisely correct, sir. For reasons unclear, at the age of 65, I started to become quite conscious of how much fear there was in my life. To make a very long story short, I looked at the fear fearlessly. I saw it for the pure mental construction that it is. The fear ran away and has not returned. With this came a profound and durable change for the better in my life. I am now 67. Yes, I sometimes look back with remorse at all those lost decades drifting around this world, doing harmful things to myself and others, trying to dodge and appease fear. No more!
