I mean in this arc so many character grow (i'm happy Gray have so good spot because my man is underrated) , but even Wendy grow in power and in courage , Levy make her move with Gajeel (from now one they finally start to become a real couple) even the Oracion seis decide to join Crime Sorciere , Juvia mature about her relation with Gray , everyone had their spot to shine and that's why i love this arc (Cana moment at the start of the arc , Laxus , Elfman and Mira , EVEN Minerva , Sting and Rogue ) from a cast this big is very good to see all of them

Aquarius is fine. She just can’t be summoned anymore. And Lucy can literally visit her anytime she wants since she can go the Celestial Spirit world via Virgo’s clothes...The whole Aquarius thing was stupid tbh. And definitely nowhere near on the level of Gray watching his dad die again and Natsu watching his dad die after spending several years looking for him.

Acnologia was affected by Face's activation because he relied on magic. He was also holding back against Igneel because he wanted a challenge. Igneel really stood no actual chance against Acnologia

Not this Igneel, but it’s possible a full power Igneel would have dealt more damage. It was stated that all of the dragons were essentially dead with only Igneel retaining some of his power. He was a fighting corpse.

Actually it IS a thing when someone holds back against another opponent that you want to challenge. Tartaros arc is a rollercoaster. While I still had tears in my eyes, I got happy hopefull and fired on but than again big wave of tears came. Everything on this arc is just perfect, Tartaros is the GOAT of FT

Yeah. But it has a lot of fake-out deaths too. I think the biggest hate are the fake-outs on the main characters. Spoilers, btw: Gray always trying to use iced shell. Wendy and Charle on the face bomb. Charle again after taking a hit for Wendy. Juvia so Gray could live. Mira on the Tenrou island counts, I think. Lissana. Ichiya and the thunder legion (both parties happened seperately tho). And the worst of all, in my opinion at least, Makarov's and Gajeel's

lisanna is the only faked out one, just because gray thought juvia died doesnt mean it was a confirmed dead, makarov for example legit died, zeref and mavis gaved their life force to him so he could live, his dream is the proof of it + zeref and mavis had the most beautiful deaths in history in my opinion@@enigmatic2878

Also Gray using Iced Shell does not count because he's either stopped before actually using it or is bluffing and thus still doesn't use it. It does not act like he died only to have him come back. Same with Wendy and Carla. They were saved before the episode even ended. And Mashima even said he put that there solely so people wouldn't think she died. He wasn't going to add the scene with Doranbolt at first.

Memento Mori is essentially the same thing that Brian of Oracion Seis invented, except black with purple highlights instead of black with green highlights. Sure it might be stronger, but it functions the same. I wonder what Mard Geer would say, if he was confronted with the fact that a "mere Human" came up with the same technique as him. ^^ No continent is right. The Faces are concentrated solely on this one continent and wouldn't have done anything beyond their reach. And considering that whoever built them, felt the need to put 3000 of them over the continent, shows that the range of each individual unit is quite limited, when talking on a global scale. Unfortunately whoever wrote the subtitles didn't get that memo and thus they occasionally screw up and write about the whole world, but that's very much in error. Man am I glad that unlike in the manga, Lisanna still had clothes on in the prison cell, otherwise she'd be completely naked right now... oh wait... continuity FTW... -_- With how easily Acnologia makes a comeback and stomps Igneel, I think it's rather clear, that him being knocked out for a moment was due to Face's dissipating magic in the area, affecting Igneel and him differently. Now whether this is due to Acnologia being a former Human transformed into a dragon, rather than a natural born dragon, or due something that'll only be talked about in the next episode, is anyone's best guess. Is it bad to turn into a dragon? Nah, it's fine. Just look at how chill Acnologia turned out, after transforming. :P

So, while these episodes were great, I never was able to understand why Acnologia couldn't have just been killed by the other dragons just working together. Present circumstances may have stopped that, but they had a long time to attempt it.

Some probably did like the ones at the dragon graveyard but Acnologia is way stronger. Igneel is also stronger than the other dragons. They were also busy fighting each other like the dragon gods so they wont all join together and it's easy for Acnologia to retreat/hide in his smaller human form.

If 400 years ago when dragons were still powerful, they still couldn't stop acnologia, then now with only 5 half-dead dragons, what can they do? A thousand times I will see Igneel's death, a thousand times I will cry, he was there since chapter 1 with all of us maintaining his flame reflected in a Natsu who is always so brave and helping everyone regardless of their life, what Natsu is is the reflection of a great father, it hurts me to see that he died and that Acnalogia is still alive... There is still zeref and his great mystery... I will always love you igneel 😭🥀
