Exactly. and some people try to make it look worse than what it actually is. I agree with you , unfortunately this arc even if this the fan favourite the pacing is SOOO slow , i mean at the start of the arc there was 7 minute of recap every episode , the final arc (which is the next after Fairy Tail Zero) suffer from the same problem but i can say that is better , there wasn't too much recap fortunately. I love your reaction and i'm hyped for the rest of the series

Love the Lucy love at the end. She really went off in this arc and saved everyone with her sacrifice. The cool thing is after this arc you still got 2 more and a movie. Then after 100 Years Quest anime will be coming in winter 2024 season Jan-March

I mean I have to admit that I have never fully seen this arc in the anime. I just read the weekly release of the manga. And I can tell you that it's an absolute 10/10 in the manga. Because the story telling is just as good as here but it doesn't have all the downsides that the anime has.

When happy said "it's because she is Erza", thanks to the evolution of the character as the arcs progressed we understood perfectly why she said it, she is Titania, she has her exterior and interior armored due to so much pain since her childhood, her power was born from wanting to be free and having hope of surviving as she saw one sacrifice after another pass before her eyes... Kyoka didn't know who she was messing with but the icing on the cake was Minerva delivering the death blow to Kyoka.

For me, the filling was necessary because many things were implied and there is still too much information missing, all that remains is to say thank you because that excited face with the battles between Igneel, Acnalogia and the dragon slayers, gray VS the king of the underworld alone It means that this arc is everything that is good and Neel named many arcs that were supreme, seeing Mavis in the lacrima to this day still gives me chills...
