Hi, from Phoenix AZ USA. I'm 72 years young and got my Cosari 5.7 yesterday. Why durty a extra pan when you could have dumped the water out of the inner pot, wiped dry the outer side then put it back in and used the Saute function to sear and finish the meal?
@grahamgetsabout267211 ай бұрын
Hi, to phoenix Arizona. If I remember while I was dumping the water Wendy decided to do it in the pan. To be fair you could see it better on the film but you are right mate. 👏👏👏👏👍 from Nottinghamshire England 🏴

I just finished up a chuck roast, 24 hour sous vide in a Cosori pressure cooker at 137 degrees F. The finished product was at an internal temp of 127, so the temp on the unit was off by 10 degrees. I put the meat in a slow cooker with some veggies to eventually make vegetable soup. I will not be using my pressure cooker to sous vide again, I will stick with my circulator.

Hi Paul, the steak was very nice it just looked a bit odd until I put it in the frying pan. I think Dunlop’s don’t even need frying mate it cooks them so well. I thought you would like that one Paul 😂😂😂😂😂😂👍

Hi graham and wendy. That steak looked perfect to me, nice and thick too. I tried a single aldi one in the air fryer a few days ago. It was quite thin and cost 3.99. It tasted ok but not like the ones you get in restaurants. I'll have to look for a thicker one like yours. The whole meal looked spot on. Well done you 👍👌

Hi Susan, I decided to try sous vide properly we needed a thicker piece of steak. It worked out really well although we did have to share 😂😂😂. It was a lovely meal Susan thank you.😍🥰😘👍

Hi Graham and Wendy, I've never heard of sous vide before. It looks to me like you did a good job. It didn't look too appetizing till you fried it. I don't think it was a bad price for the meat, it was a thick piece. The machine you've got for sealing the bags looks really good. I did John BBQ spare ribs in the slow cooker for tea, he said they were nice, he had some chips with them, i had bacon, egg and chips done in the cosori. Anyway enjoyed your video as i always do

Hi Sandra, one of our family chefs mentioned it to me and I couldn’t understand it. Cooking in warm water seems strange. We enjoyed the steak though. I’m going to try again because it was easy and is supposed to be consistent. We had sausage,bacon, egg,mushrooms and fresh tomatoes in the air fryer 👌😍🥰😘👍

Hi guys, you had us laughing with the banter, Wendy was on form lol. Was it as tender as they say using the water bath method . Supposed to be great for fish, anyway I will give you a msg tomorrow just picked up a great little microphone that would really be good for you, but talk soon..👍👊🙏🥰

Hi Steve, the steak was very tender, I bought a thick cut to see if it cooked right through and it did. I can’t wait to try again. I look at microphones but the price puts me off. 😂😂😂👍

Hi both- well the finished meal looked great - do you think the taste was improved by that method of cooking Graham ❤ don’t think I’ve heard about that method before either - 🥰
@grahamgetsabout2672 Жыл бұрын
Hi Pauline, we both thought the steak looked strange when I opened the bag. After a quick fry it looked good. It was a good piece of steak and it was really tasty, they say cooking this way is consistent but we’ve only had one go. I think we need to try a cheap steak as well, although it was a good lump for the price and we both had plenty. ❤️😍🥰😘👍 I forgot to plug the meter in to get the cost. what are your thoughts Pauline.
@Pauline-qv1ws Жыл бұрын
I don’t like a thick piece of meat so I will have a go with a thinner piece - will check my booklet as to be honest thought might not use that method - but seeing how easy it was I’m going to try it - wonder what a marinaded bit of chicken be like !? ❤️😍

Hi Graham waw looking at this, sous vide often or not if you haven't it's worth spending around £15, for a good blow torch not a small one made for a kitchen get a large tin of gas and the holder, there a great way of making any meat that you sous vide and it looks bland rather than fry it just go around and it will give you the delicious Charring where you want to, great for chicken breast burges sausage well anything, really and it all tastes as if it was cooked on a bbw👏👏🍻
@grahamgetsabout2672 Жыл бұрын
Hi Sean, that steak was so nice but it looked very bland. It tasted great and very evenly cooked. I’ll have to try with a blow torch that sounds a good idea. I went to get two pork chops out of our freezer to sous vide only to find we’ve eaten them already. 😂😂😂😂👍. Hope you had a good weekend 👋👋👍

Bloomin heck , are ya getting sponsored by fairy liquid now as well, what a performance to cook steak , why not just chuck it in the frying pan , instead of waisting all that plastic , you will be getting the green party on ya back next
@grahamgetsabout2672 Жыл бұрын
Hi Pete, your right what a performance, it’s the first time we’ve used sous vide and filming it as well makes it hard work. The chefs in the family use it and apparently the top restaurants do to produce consistently good results. I will give it a good try and we will see. We picked some apples from a tree and blackberries from a bush. That’s about all the food that wasn’t covered in plastic when we got it. 😂😂😂😂👍
