About Mtunzini beaches, probably the longest beach in the country, located on the North coast , settled in a wildlife environment , best swimming beach I ever came across, near Richardsbay. It is a must see, very remote and under rated.

I'm in South Africa right now - about 150 miles outside of Cape Town. It's incredible! I've indulged in all the adventure activities! Couldn't help myself. Shark diving is the most thrilling thing I've ever done!

If you get an eSIM that’s also possible. Relying on WiFi might not be enough (at least not if you need to order an Uber or something and you’re not at the accommodation). You need internet to use WhatsApp. That’s why we got a SIM card with a decent data package.

Just like england,it is mostly safe but thee are some places to avoid.Go anywhere except for khayelitsha,cape flats,joburg kzn and cape town cbd and gugulethu.If you avoid those places you will be safe.Also be weary in Cape Town as pickpocketing and robberies are common

It was really fine. The roads were in good shape. There was one road we had to avoid when we rented our car from Cape Town (the car rental company explained it to us and gave us a map). But other than that, we just followed google maps around the country and it was totally fine

What about the video i just saw about cape towns crime? over 3000 murders per year. Car jackings and the mansions have private security and cameras and spikes on top of private walls. They have a gang called the americans and are proud of all the murders they have committed. Reason I ask is, are or were planning to a trip in November.

Just stay away from the ghettos and you'll be fine! We didn't have any issues at all and were there for over 2 months. It all comes down to doing your own research and common sense!
