I really loved watching your videos on snacks from South Africa. The reason why South Africa has many corn snacks is because maize made from corn is the staple starch in South Africa. The Mrs balls Chutney is a brand and available at Sainsbury, simba is one of South Africa's largest crisp and snack brands in South Africa, there is willards and lays as well. Ghost pops are similar to tangy Tom's you get in the UK and the best nik naks in my opinion is the cheese naks, all gold is a brand of ketchup the best brand of ketchup/ tomato sauce in South afrika. The rusks come many different flavours and are normally dipped in tea or coffee. Rooibos is what you know as red Bush tea pronounced r oi b or(silent r) s it is nice with sugar and milk, or a small anount of condensed milk, or black with honey or black with sugar/honey and lemon. Isando is a suburb in Johannesburg where simba comes from and stellenbos is in the Western Cape.

Ouma rusks are a staple here in winter lol. The slogan goes' dip an Ouma' which translates to dip a granny. You definitely missed out not dipping it, it's very different when you do, it melts in your mouth.👍

So exciting, I'm from Cape Town. There is nothing better than an Ouma rusk with a cup of coffee.... Also rooibos means red bush (rooibos is an Afrikaans word). Most excited to see what you think about our chocolate as I reckon its the best!!!

Specifically from Durbanville, I lived there until I was nearly 11 and 6 months I then moved to the UK, I am now 12 and nearly 10 months, I miss all of these snacks and treats my favourite is one they haven't tried yet, the 5-stars are so good🇿🇦 Suid-Afrika is die beste. Where about in Cape Town do you come from. I miss SA so much, Rooibos tea is the best tea, I can't drink English breakfast it just isn't the same so we buy red bush which is Rooibos in English
