A young South African inventor from Soweto in Johannesburg has built a 'robot' entirely out of trash and old parts. Mpho Makutu took two weeks to construct his creative machine, now he's hoping his invention brings him fame and fortune. CGTN's Julie Scheier has more.

Here you go: SANSA, created by South African President Kgalema Motlanthe who is (gasp) BLACK! pmg.org.za/committee-meeting/25220/ The Space program was built and many of the designs for satellites and crop watch tech was developed by a 68% Black scientist racial makeup. These Africans do work every day you may not be intellectually capable of. National Space Research and Development Agency in Nigeria was created by Olusegun Obasanjo who is (gasp) BLACK!, The space program has innovative designs with a nearly 90% black workforce and management team (I've actually visited this one a couple of years ago, it's truly incredibly. It's basically a black NASA). kzbin.info/www/bejne/g2i3ZGZ4i7GphbM. -- You misunderstand when you think China is are the people developing these systems. They're not. They are manufacturing some components of the satellites, and some of the rocket boosters, but the Africans are designing the systems, coding the software, and raising the platforms. They are offering technical advice and manpower that some of these African countries can't afford themselves. I mean hell, America manufactures goods that are imported to China, it's the same thing. That's how global trade works.. So I looked up what videos you were commenting on, and it seems you go to videos primarily regarding Africans inventing things, and you try to post disrespectful and rather sarcastic comments trying to downplay their accomplishments. For the life of me I can't figure out why. For example: You commented on kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6uufH2Yotdse7c a few months back with the comment, "I guarantee this rocket was designed and manufactured in Africa". Obviously sarcastic as you assume the entire rocket was created in China. I just don't understand what your negative obsession with African science is? Do you not like the continent of Africa? Is it the shape? Do you not like the fact that the continent is shaped like a Rhino? Did an African beat you in a science fair project or something? Shouldn't you be applauding that Africans are looking toward the future? I personally don't think Africa should be investing in any space programs and should instead be investing into their people. They have huge corruption problems in their governments which starves their people physically and intellectually. If they fix those first, then they can move onto space. Botswana is on the right track, they have one of the fastest growing GDP per-capita in the world and slashed their HIV/AIDS cases in infants by 50% in just 4 years with their own medicine designed by their own researchers simply because they held off on the space program and invested their diamond money into their schools.
@captainobvious1415
@captainobvious1415 6 жыл бұрын
Wow you truly are ignorant of how these space agencies work aren't you? Nigerian scientists have developed a wireless transmission device that can track crops over 18 months from a satellite. The research team on that project was 100% Nigerian. Hell they even used the very research Ilesanmi Adesida, who is a Nigerian national, developed, which were nanomaterials for superconductors used in space communications. It's ironic, because his research is one of the very reasons you and I can communicate so fast right now because his research was used in the development of new fiber optic cables linking online systems. Again, I've actually visited that program 2 years ago, and the Nigerians are pretty witty with how they structure their fairings. They develop about 60% of the materials and designs, while China develops the rest, primarily for manufacturing. You're talking to a mechanical engineer here man, and I'm telling you, you have no idea what you're talking about. I'm serious you have to visit these places to change your worldview, because you're just going to keep spouting this inaccurate, racist, stuff until you actually meet Africans who are much smarter than you or I. For example, at the University of Lagos, they were recruiting 50 Senior Engineering students to come help and build/design at the Nigerian Space Program. Many of them were hired on, and work in the material science and datacomms sectors. When I was there, there was a Nigerian engineer who explained to us how the flow rate of the propellant was calculated based on nozzle conic shape. Your little Flat Earth conspiracy theories that there are just no Nigerians involved in the development of these systems, and that they are all just hired on to stand around and watch a bunch of asians do the work and take the credit for it is laughable. I think you just don't LIKE the fact that there are smart black scientists. Where that dislike comes from, I have no clue. Maybe you've been watching too much propaganda from Jared Taylor and Stefan Molyneaux.
