The video indicates the inventions were based on her research not that she invented the items herself. 2. 1 source states many believe it to be true however she herself have never made that claim and they predate her time at bell laboratories. Finally the original comment just states pride. They didn't elude to anything more.

Rome’s borders were much more expansive and they conquered multiethnic racial groups...Egypt was stagnant in terms of conquest for most of history....it was conquered several times which led to the heterogeneous society

Blacks never received any reparations, though the slaveholders who sided with the Union received reparations from their "lost property". Thus, they could continue to build the generational wealth they started with slavery. With no "40 acres and a mule", many had to return to their former slaveholders for particularly "cheap" employment. Partial exclusion from the Homestead acts, even more exclusion from the GI Bill, voter suppression, the 13th Amendment clause which allows the literal reenslavement of incarcerated blacks in the "for profit" prison system, and so much more has mitigated the progress of blacks that still have effects to this day. So no. No one has suffered from the effects of slavery as much as the blacks. Who knows how wealthy the black community could be were it not for slavery and others being given a 300 year start over them.

There is a substantial difference between an inventor and an innovator (and a PRODUCER of such a product). FYI, the first color monitor was produced by Apple in the late 1970s. Some of us have been around for a while to not be snowed by the assertions of this video. Also, the first personal computer was many years before IBM and the person mentioned in this video. So much twisting of reality to push a narrative but it works for those who need anything to hang onto.

Some of these are a bit questionable in accuracy. Kind of like saying that Edison invented the light bulb. There is a reason that most inventors and scientists are forgotten. Not a thing on this list is a new invention. All adaptations and new features. Dozens of these videos around. Good for you someone made something.
