A week after this, the OSU marching band performed this for the spectators at the annual Buckeye Invitational competition. My daughter's high school band was one of several high school marching bands who competed, and the OSU band interacted with the high school kids, as well as performing.

I think more Americans are confused as to why many countries don't have this same passion and culture for sports. You all seem so proud of your own sports teams. You don't have to be a professional athlete to enjoy and root for your hometown team no matter what level they are. If the team comes from your school (high school or university) that just makes them closer. When I was in high school my local school had to play against another local high school team. That team had a player that would eventually go on to play professional American football for our own home team of the San Diego Chargers and that man was Jr. Seau. Maybe that part of our love is so that I can now say I saw Jr Seau play when he was in high school and they kicked my schools but. Dang you O'side HS, CA!!!

This is why the Ohio State University Marching Band is known as "The Best Damn Band In The Land." Go Bucks!! Lived in Columbus, Ohio for 20 years.

As a Buckeye, OSU and Xichigan are intense rivals. To say the two schools don't like each other is an understatement.

Call me partial because I am a born and raised Ohioan, but we aren't called The Best Damned Band In The Land for nothing, lol! Harder to get a scholarship for the band than our football team and they are phenomenal in their own right! GO BUCKS! OH.......I O! ❤❤❤❤

You're already engaging the Michigan fans by highlighting their rival Ohio State University, but don't make them more mad by calling them Michigan State. Blue and Yellow is Univ of Michigan Wolverines. Different than Green and White Michigan State Univ Spartans.
