Fun fact, the songs being performed in the medley are actually Amapiano hits from the lead singer from 2019 -2020 produced by Kabza De Small. The vibes are the acapella spin off of the hits

That’s South Africa for you, music is embedded in us. We can sing without instruments and make it sound like there’s instruments. We learn to harmonise from an early age at school 😊

This song is a shock even to us South Africans, that's how brilliant the vocal arrangement is!!! Thank you for the appreciation!

One other thing is that Music and Creative Arts is taught from Grade 1 in 🇿🇦. We also have National School Choir Competitions for all Schools in the country where the learners sing Opera; choral and own choice pieces. The same competitions produced the likes of Pretty Yende; a Soprano Opera singer who was invited to sing at the Coronation of King Charles.

a lifelong friend of mine knows samthing Soweto personally! & whilst i dunno if he went to the same high school with him & sister (Reasoma High in Soweto) or Tetelo High (both in Soweto - Protea North) what i do know is he frequented the same fast food joint next to Tetelo High called Robert's & that's were he knows him from. & even before he became famous with the group "the Soil", he was familiar to me by then. a very talented brother indeed.
