South Carolina's Highest Peaks - Sassafras Mountain & Pinnacle Mountain - Table Rock State Park

Today we are doing the two highest peaks in South Carolina. Sassafras Mountain, which is the highest peak in the state. And Pinnacle Mountain, the highest mountain contained entirely in the state.
Starting at Table Rock State Park, the out and back with a small loop added in is just over 20 miles and 5,000ft of gain. Making it one of, if not the hardest trail in South Carolina.
So get ready for waterfalls, bears and views from the great state of South Carolina!
