This was the most relaxing and atmospheric video so far, i felt the stress flowing out of my body sitting in the boat with you hearing the gentle splashing of the paddle and listening to the guy with his relaxing voice talking about the swamp aaand i also learned new stuff.. wow what a beautiful and peaceful garden this is, thank you so much for that and see you tomorrow!

OMG!! We loooooove cypress gardens! So glad it's opened back up! It was closed for a few yrs. We had a bad storm come through and flooded it! Definitely in my neck of the woods man! Dang! Interesting. I remember the swamp scenes in "The Patriot" very well. His character was based on "The Swamp Fox" Francis Marion, who is sort of the "patron saint" of the US Army Rangers. The battle at the end was based on the Battle of Cowpens, which led to the Battle of Guliford Courthouse in my area. Highly fictionalized but based on a lot of historical material.

The Patriot movie was based on the turning point of the revolutionary War which was in Cowpens, SC. I learned that after I moved down here and on a whim visited the battlegrounds on Independence day. Wonderful tour. Quite interesting.
