The Filipinos, under the instruction of the US, cancelled the agreement suddenly and Vice Admiral Carlos was told to disappear to avoid to be called upon as a witness of the agreement Since the Filipinos are untrust worthy so China as a super power decided to take decided action against the Filipinos that thought the US would come and start a nuclear war with China for the Filipinos. What a shame to its own government in the past and the current administration. This is a reality since the Chinese modernize and invested heavily on its own military prowess, of course, to counter the US, and most of all, in its own self-determination and vitalization. It is a laughing stock to see politicians in Congress and the Senate debating and giving their own opinions on these delicate national security matters, arguing, giving their own views and opinions, but never get united to pass a major defense bill (budget) to purchase modern weapons. And when an incident like this in South China Sea, the country just felt like a "crying-baby" and can't do anything but to watch what's gonna happen. And lately, I saw the Senate president Mr Escudero, suggested that he would like to bring this matter to the ASEAN group of nations. Well, first of all, yes, you can do that, and the attention of all the member nations will be upon you. But the releasing a major United front against or to counter China, I don't think it will work Mr Escudero. Why? Even, China 🇨🇳 themselves ignored the UNCLOS decisions many years ago filed and won by the Philippine government. How much more your ASEAN dreams to bring it over to them. Well, diplomatically, there will be a little small effect that it can do, but on a major scale to change the geographical view of China, won't have any impact to them. Philippines 🇵🇭 learn your lesson and how the geo politics have changed more than a decade ago. And if Philippines 🇵🇭 will not invest money to modernize its own military hardwares, China will keep on managing its interest in the areas of the South China Sea, and thst includes the most worrisome of incursion to the Philippines 🇵🇭 exclusive economic zone (EEZ).
