We were lucky enough to setup a tour and were the only ones to show up so it became a even better experience. Got to take all the photos as up close as we wanted. It was amazing!

We were just there last week. There is so much stuff to see there. The Crazy Horse Memorial was the highlight of our trip.

Yes, it was definitely one our favorites. South Dakota did not disappoint there is so much history there. We enjoyed learning about the Crazy Horse Memorial. We certainly hope it gets finished sooner than later. The Lakota Indigenous People deserve this memorial. A great tribute to their warrior and their culture. Thank you for joining us. Hello Matt, I have my own opinion why it is taking so long. With only 10 people working on such a big project you understand why. Definitely job security for the family. Mount Rushmore only took 14 years. Crazy Horse Memorial has been in the works for 75 years. Thank you for joining us tonight. We are really trying hard to get all adventures in South Dakota done. Hello Bob and Cathy, Mount Rushmore at night will always be a wonderful memory. I wish we could of been there when they did the nighttime ceremony. There is always next time. Those were the some great wines. A little different than we are used to. Rhubarb who would of thought! Yes, we travel up to Spearfish next and see some beautiful surprises In Spearfish Canyon. We were there in May while snow was on the ground one day and cleared the next day. Did you sign up for either of the raffles at the CHM? It was a pretty incredible place.

Hello! We were there in May also. We did not see any snow. The history of Crazy Horse Memory was pretty incredible. We missed the raffles. Part of me wishes they would get more people involved and finish it. It was our understanding only 10 people are working on it. The Lakota People deserve this memorial to be finished. @@OverTheHillAdventures It was the craziest thing. We were coming from the East and it was hot. We get to Keystone and see rain. As we passed the Mount Rushmore crest, we started getting sleet. We hit that left turn signal and hail/snow. They closed down the bus rides due to thunder. We came back the next day and the bus rides were opened up. The raffles to support their mission were an 1873 Winchester rifle and a new Indian motorcycle. Glad you both enjoyed the trip. We will be heading back to stay at the Badlands. Thanks!

I really want to see the Crazy Horse Memorial when we go to SD. I went there when I was 13. The first sculptor was working on it then. How do you know what wine you will like without a tasting? We also like to go to local wineries and breweries when we travel.

Hello Claudia, the lady at the KOA desk told us it was really good. So we tried it and it was really really good. Crazy Horse Memorial was really something to see. The museum was incredible.
