There are NO Fox hunts in the UK ,thay are banned . So there's hound exercise, or drag hunting . Some of the hunts have fun rides . Thank you all for sharing your day .hope you all had a great time . 😄😄😊😊😊👍👍👍👍

We hunt what’s called the clean boot meaning our hounds are trained to follow the smell of human runners and your quite correct that we don’t hunt any animals. I wd do a drag hunt but not a live fox hunt.

@@Lauren-vd4qe we DONT fix hunt. We hunt the clean boot. This means our hounds are trained to follow the smell of our HUMAN runners who are known as quarries. The quarries go and talk to our hunt master before setting off on our pre established route which also allows the hounds time to smell them. The hounds follow a mixer of the smell from the runners and also the smell of sweat and that is what they hunt. If they ‘catch’ our human quarry then the circle then and slobber on them. Blood hounds are some of the friendliest animals alive. And never in the 5 years I’ve been hunting have they ever caught a fox. I hunt with a group called The South Down Bloodhounds, we have a public Facebook group, website and instagram page where we share very publicly what we do as it is a legal, non harmful sport

@@TwoMadHackers thats good! ive never heard of clean boot, not sure about the word connection. so u use bloodhounds not fox hounds, hmmm, I wouldnt think bloodhounds have the physical fortitude to run all those miles the horses did in this video! I know their noses are renowned for scent tracking...Im familiar with bloodhounds and horses.
