The expert is a moron who can't have properly watch the footage. The landing gear was up, the flaps were not deployed and seemed very much like the engines were still producing thrust and as a result the aircraft was moving at considerable speed compared to any normal landing. I suspect it'll turn out to be a significant system failure that prevented the pilots from being able to properly configure the aircraft for landing. The aircraft also did not "veer off the runway", it crossed the upwind threshhold and effectively ran out of runway due to it's considerable speed. With respect to the wall at the end, it's very likely it precisely there intentionally to stop an overrunning aircraft from leaving the aerodrome boundary and careening into neighboring carparks or buildings. However this is an extreme accident and whether it was a barrier or a building that aircraft was stuffed if it was force to attempt a landing at that speed.

There is an earlier video from an apartment building showing this aircraft's right engine had ingested something before landing (Video from MBS, you can look it up online) And if the bird strike damaged A or B hydraulic, it can make the landing gear malfunction, you can manually lower the gear tho, but it will take time, also bear in mind flap was not extended as well, and the nose gear assembly was not open (The nose gear door) and only 1 reverser are on (IIRC it's on the right engine)

Typical Aviation "expert." For some reason all landing gear appear to have failed to extend. A bird strike doesn't cause all landing gear to retract. No correlation between a bird strike on one main wheel and the nose gear. If the pilots had a problem with the landing gear - even if caused just before landing - it would be normal practice to delay the landing and run their checklist, to problem solve. If they couldn't solve it, they could divert to a longer runway and have fire-crews on standby at the runway edges. If we don't know, I think it would be more appropriate to leave it to professional investigators. Speculation isn't what is needed here. RIP to those who did not survive and may the families find comfort in their memories. South Korean carriers have in the past had a long spate of accidents that were caused (at least in part) by what is termed a very steep "Authority Gradient." One person may see a problem, but is the less senior member of the crew and feels unable to contradict the more senior member of the crew. Or, is convinced to follow a course of action that they do not agree with. Or, who is in charge isn't clearly defined, which means that neither pilot knows who really has ultimate control of the jet (like in Asiana 214 where the more experienced pilot was under training by a slightly less experienced pilot who had more experience on the aircraft type). If you make a mis-step, South Korea has very strict cultural repercussions around such things. Unfortunately, this has in the past caused fatal communication errors in a number of cases. I certainly wouldn't like to hear that this is one of the causes or causational factors.
