Favorite episode yet! I’m biased though, I think wild land fire is the area I’d like to specialize in!

Are your department's copters (air support) stationed strategically throughout your coverage area for trauma patient transport and fire attack?
@timschnaidt4 жыл бұрын
little late response but, many of the air support items you see are county-owned and operated I believe.

The one for fire attack is owned by Douglas county one of the counties smfr is in. The medical helicopters are airline helicopters that are with each hospital

He knows his his trade well. That's a good thing too. I feel very confident with SMF being our fire fighters.

Pay attention to what the man is saying he actually knows what he's talking about unlike you. And if you live out in that part of the country what he's saying makes all the sense in the world again if you pay attention

I will never understand why the public can't learn how to be more careful with fire. Why can't they use common knowledge to know the high fire dangers without being told. People living in high fire danger areas must have their head in the sand most ot the time.

I think that is why they DNR in Michigan has "Fire Danger" signs near their Field Offices, to make the public aware. Most people don't understand the idea of low humidity, dry ground for weeks/months and high winds as a problem.
