Always good to get out and drive some freeways (virtually of course) especially in times like these! I always liked Arizona's freeways. Something about them being so clean looking or maybe they just all seem so new compared to what I'm used to. I love their rounded overhead gantry signs too.

I really like Phoenix's freeways. They do their desert landscaping really well. Plus, it's warm there, which helps get through the long Canadian winter.

Phoenix is quite a young city that’s why a lot of the freeways are new and well maintained.

Superstition Freeway could have been future I-14 which would have been connected between I-10 in Phoenix Arizona and Copperas Cove (Fort Hood Military Facility) in Texas, but New Mexico has a lack of highway budget funds to have I-14, even if New Mexico does have Holloman Air Force Base near Alamogordo (population 40,000) New Mexico. I-14 is located between I-10 and I-40 in both Arizona and New Mexico. The population of Arizona is about 7,500,000 and New Mexico is about 2,280,000 people for 2020 census. Arizona is the fastest growing state, and even New Mexico is fairly a fastest growing state as well. I-14 would have been the Top 10 longest interstate highway which covers more then 2,000 miles from Phoenix Arizona to Wilmington North Carolina.

i use a sony ax-33. It's kind of bulky, but it takes a great image (except in low light -- it's not great at night).

I think the fact that Phoenix's roads are so new helps. It also helps that their roads are pretty much all on the valley floor in an area with much more stable ground than California.

To save money since ethos gantries are more expensive and the new freeway signage is in Highway Gothic, not in Clearview like the old section!

Yeah, it’s never made sense to me that drivers are permitted to cross a thick solid line to enter the carpool lane. And for whatever reason, California is being forced to get rid of the double yellow lines between carpool lanes and regular lanes, yet Arizona gets to keep this weird arrangement.

Most do this because in reality this could be 20 minutes or longer depending on traffic. Some use different editors to adjust the speed depending on music so it suits the images as well.

Why are driving so slow and especially hanging in the far right lane after 9am? Arizona opens their HOV lane (far left) between 9am-3pm M-F. S-Su it's available to all. The L202 was designed and built for a fast route for the rich from Gilbert to the west valley of Phoenix for direct access to the i10 that's east 10 minutes away. 8 minutes in and hoping you illustrate the Estrella Mountains and show native american land with the casino approaching ... Wooou

I hate This freeway because they demolished my house for this and I had to live with my parents. I actually don’t even like driving on it because it gives me bad memories of loosing my home and my house was built 2005. I would be mad at the developers who built the house. This freeway has been planned since 1985 ever since the original half-cent sales tax was passed to help build Phoenix’s freeway system and developers still built there knowing it was in the freeway’s right of way.
