A large part of this show is a spoof of the movie "Red Dragon". In it is a serial killer who "transforms" his victims as he kills them and he later kidnaps a person (can't remember if it's the police chasing him or a journalist or whatever the role is) and before killing him shows him a bunch of photos he took of his victims before, during and after "transformation". So the slideshow is a spoof of showing horrible photos and is a flashback to when people would pull out the ol' projector and show photos from their latest trip abroad.

Yeah,Brett Rather is a garbage person and except for the first Rush Hour,a garbage director. He (and the writer) really works way too hard to make Hannibal a second lead when he truly defines glorified cameo,a charismatic scenestealer outside the plot. PSH as a tubby,trembling loser is wasted,Fiennes goes way too hard on the struggle with psychosis that would make him jobless and a person of interest in five minutes ...and shame over his harelip,at some point,you just want someone to go "Dude,you are not ugly, you're Ralph Fiennes,quit being so melodramatic." Keitel and lead Norton are also bland. I get why aspects of it is easy to mock but Michael Mann directed Manhunter in 86,which is basically the same story and it didn't really invite mockery. You could believe a man with Tom Noonans face could be an outcast,Brian Cox underplays Hannibal and avoids the theatrical,William Petersen and especially Joan Allen is great...no idea why I ranted. Maybe cause Im annoyed by Red Dragon having 7.2 vs Hannibals 6.8 or so on IMDB when Hannibal is top notch grand guignol,trashy pulp,a gory,just bonkers psychosis directed by one of the best alive. It leans into the grotesque and tasteless but with self aware class and I love it as pure entertainment. Bonus points for Oldman and Giannini. Red Dragon tries hard to be something Manhunter had already became. Now,do you see...? Ps. Okay,I just saw that Red Dragon...and Manhunter...BOTH Have 7.2 on Imdb. As you can surmise,I am pretty pissed off and I'm gonna fix this by writing a letter to Imdb. I know it will fix everything but I really shouldnt have to do this. Equal scores...

Every single thing Yates does in this one is just perfection. Most funny bits were left out here but the "Mr.God." and "My son also likes to cut out the eyes of women in magazines" paraphrasing there, that profound realization when he turns his hand around and him being unfamiliar with both actual restraint and the word restraint...the dumbest and most dedicated cöp in the whole town was the MVP here.

Hopefully they start making normal full seasons episodes again once this paramount deal runs out. He is doing rick and morty, by the time there new room to fill out. He could try invincible, will probably be on season 4 or 5 by the time that happens. Best way would be ask fan in advance what shows they would want. He can then take a look if they are shows he would want to see at all. If he doesn't want to watch a long running anime show for example that is understandable so he can just root that out and take a look at the trailers of the shows suggested that are the most interesting. Create a poll asking people to vote on which shows should replace south park. Would probably need more than 1.

Asking a serial killer to use logic is practically impossible. With few exceptions of those that have created mouse and cat games with the police. They mostly tend to live in a distant reality after it has no longer become a fantasy and their methods grow stranger as they grow more used to doing it. And they have to make it stranger or else the don't get the sexual gratification from it. Which is really what distinguish a serial killer and for instance a mobster who might have killed the same number of people. For the mobster its business for the serial killer its for pleasure.

But most of the time they enjoyed the feeling of sexual power it gives them. What you are thinking about are the school you know what. Those teens want to get known for their crimes. But I would understand why you would think so media has made them out to be formidable predators. Or overlooked loners who no one would look at twice so this is their way of getting looked at. But while the overlooked part is real, wanting to get caught much less so.

But even though he's fictional and you are real,I think why he became a cop beyond you is just that he got into the Academy and studied and he works in a pretty peaceful town with low criminality. I don't know how you know he's beyond you,heck,you might be a lot better than you give yourself credit for.
