Going back and watching older South Park eps is like a trip back in time to see how we got to this moment culturally, I highly suggest doing that, you'll see things you might have missed before. The genius of South Park, and also some of the frustration mentioned here, is that they ALWAYS slam both sides so they can't be accused of anything - but also, possibly to show us what we have in common which can open things up for dialogue. If you only slam one side you come off sounding preachy, shut down the conversation and lose the opportunity for a bit of self reflection. Matt and Trey have always said that as long as everyone is fair game then everything is fair game. It's everyone or no one in terms of the comedy.

I've watched Gary, Drinker and Chato review this episode and they all have a slightly different take. The one thing they all failed to notice though, was the Cartman replacement is different than the other replacements in so far as the under carriage is drawn.
