When this episode aired, Comedy Central had these stupid adverts that would appear at the bottom of the screen or in the corner. Like a little, “New Such and Such episode Tuesday at 7!” So you’d see it during the show you were already watching. The first time Towelie appeared on screen, one of those ads popped up, covering the brand new character being introduced. Matt and Trey said they now keep a sticker on their screens to remember where those ads pop up so they never put anything important in that section of the screen. Towelie is one of those characters you either love or hate. I was glad to see how hard you laughed the first time he said, “You wanna get high?”

I love the joke of this episode where they have an amazing real life adventure, with quests, twists and turns, but they complain the whole time because they want to go home and play video games to simulate those things. At the end he says "Cool! parachute level" yet when they parachuted for real they were bored and plotting how many hours they could game for haha.

3:47 It's a reference to Sling Blade. Billy Bob Thornton wrote, directed and starred in it, playing a mentally disabled man who speaks similarly to that. Sling Blade is really worth a watch if you haven't seen it.

I actually have a talking Towlie lol! It’s small though, less than a foot tall. And it doesn’t say “You wanna get high?” 😂 It says “Don’t forget to bring a towel.” “Don’t preach to me fatso!” And “If you ever go to a hotel be sure to bring your own towel. You never know where hotel towels have been!” Words of wisdom lol

This episode aired in August 2001, just slightly over a month before the Nintendo Gamecube got released in Japan, hence the use of "Gamesphere" as the newest and fanciest video game system. They mispronounce the word pretty bad, but "okama" is Japanese for drag queen or transvestite.

Have you ever heard of voodoo donuts whenever they first became popular they had a Pepto-Bismol donut it was a donut that had a medicine cup of Pepto bismol in the middle so that you could pour it over the donut and eat it... I've had some of their more normal donuts and they're more normal donuts or decent but I think the FDA made them stop selling the Pepto-Bismol donut

I think this was the last time they did something cool and funny with live action. I know they did something with Ziplining about 12 seasons later but that wasn't cool or funny
