@trapezius773 жыл бұрын
@Roz Henderson your facts are wrong. HK is indeed very expensive, but to say that to be ranked a success one needs to be a billionaire is ludicrous. If you have 100 million you are not a success? 🤨 You can get a decent apartment for HK$ 5-10 million, and you can get amazing meals for HK$ 100-200. Where did you get your numbers from? HK's real estate market is the most expensive in the world, but other than rents, other expenses are not even close to the highest in the world; they are middle of the pack.

It also accounts for nearly 75% of the world's coltan, an important mineral used in electronic devices, including cellphones. At 3:08 it said he "began volunteering at a church to teach English" and as a result a NGO (Non-Government Organization) gave him food and shelter. Apparently, he made the effort to help himself by going to volunteer at the church without asking for anything, and thus they were connected with the NGO, who saw his benefit and provided him with food and shelter. I didn't see anything ungrateful about his actions at all. He then put out the effort to pass high school exams and qualify to take college classes.
