Thank you for documenting these high short hood Norfolk Southern engines on the Norfolk Southern lines around Jackson, Michigan, Drayton! As always, your videos are interesting to watch for the engines and historical information that you give us in your videos.

Used to call that fly shunting in the UK. It isn't done anymore as so called block trains never need shunting. Another enjoyable video, I do like the high hood locomotives!

I sure wish we could get a couple of high hoods back in Asheville, NC, again. We haven't seen high hoods here in a long, long time. For a long time that's all we had on almost all our locals(44, 89, 33, 31, 87, 60/61, 23, 25, 71, 59). Now they're all the refurbished cab units. Anyway, it's good to see there are still some out running on the system. Thank you, Mr. Blackgrove, for this great video! Keep up the good work.

There’s a pair of GP38-2 HH’s that are used as Remotely Operated Yard power for Norfolk Southern’s Rutherford Intermodal Yard located between Harrisburg and Hershey, Pennsylvania along the Harrisburg Line I see them always sorting cars when I go by I also remember seeing 5044 there as well It was the 3rd unit (before getting relocated)

Great video love the hi hoods! For many years there was an NS gp38-2 stationed at the yard in Durham NC. I haven’t been by there in a few years but I’m assuming it’s no longer there. Also man do I love hi hood sd40-2’s now that’s a handsome locomotive the long porches definitely make it stand out and now I want one for my ho scale collection! Lol

Cool that the railroad doesn't have a problem with you operating the drone so close to the locomotives and over the property. I can imagine somebody banning that someday, may as well enjoy it while you can.

I strongly believe the overweight cat is missing something in her diet that her body craves. The solution to keeping her healthy is to give her the best quality cat food available. I would try supplementing her diet with superfoods such as organic barley grass juice powder and cracked chlorella. The ideal food would be organic, pasture-raised or wild poultry giblets & eggs, and wild, ocean-caught fish. The key is quality, not quantity -to assure she is getting the micro-nutrients not found in mass-produced supermarket pet foods, which are scandalously laden with antibiotic residues and devoid of good nutrition. You will find all of your pets eating less but growing healthier. Properly fed domestic cats and dogs can live to over 30 years and freer of the common afflictions of old age. ·

Be interesting if Drones are (That Delay block drone shot showed a interesting CONCEPTS.......JUST THICK WHAT DELAY BLOCK COULD HAVE INSPIRED ..PERHAPS IMPROVING RAILWAY SAFETY???)used in Switching moves...and During road Jobs COULD THEY PREVENT WASH OUTS AND GRADE CROSSING ACCIDENTS IF TRAINS Crews could see the tracks ahead and have time to react....The conductors or switchmen riding the cab could operate these Drones🎉🎉🎉😂❤...It be cool if these drones prevent. Railway head on collisions.....Could you imagine a Conductor flying a drone says "theres a train heading our way 4 miles ahead..AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHYES "...........😢😢😢😢😢😢😢🎉😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
