Just a note not necessarily pertaining to this video but your breadth of techniques and casual against the grain cooking styles is entertaining, educational and time worthy. Thanks for showing fellow enthusiasts some tricks and no fear. Would be awesome to see you collaborate with other masters. It’s like Southern BBQ meets grilling from wherever. Love to see you delve into food and techniques from Asia to Africa to Euro and beyond. You keep breaking the rules getting cooking down to its essence. Fun stuff. 🙏🏻.

Here in Maryland we add a splash of vinegar for that sweet and sour balance along with a shake of celery seed and s&p. Never had the relish, but I'm always game to try something new and will definitely give this a go! Great no nonsense video as always.👍

Best recipe for slaw on a southern style hot dog along with mustard and onions (mixed together) and chilli.

I made this cole slaw and it was delicious 😊 I chopped the cabbage instead, but shredded the other ingredients. I added pepper and parsley too. I made your fried fish recipe with this, I used Whiting fish. It is normally delicate, but fried like this, it stays together and is soooo good. I served it with a cold pasta salad. Everything was superb. Ty 👍💯

Exactly what I wanted to see how to make a doable Cold Slaw ! One question is how do I know when a cabbage is ready to use ? Also is a red cabbage okay to add for color as long as I make the ratio adjustments? Lastly do you have you own kitchen garden for herbs and vegetables?
@bbqsouthernstyle Жыл бұрын
If it's in the market its ready to use and mix away on colors. Yes, we grow herbs in doors.

Sir, Thank you for clarification on the cabbage. Just learning to cook with raw fresh ingredients. My family hope I continue learning from you a remarkable best chef. I am going to start my own herb garden. We are going to Lowes with my kid and see what I can find. Oh yes ! Great idea using a wine bottler for keeping bbq mop sauce mixed . Cheers ~Thank you andMerry Christmas 2023🎄✝️
